Blue Sky Garden Restaurant

I just ordered Curry Shrimp from them and was thorouly dissapointed. I only got 12 shrimp of which were 3 times smaller than the last time i ordered from them. To fill the container they added cubed potatoes, carrots and a lot of green peppers and onions. The curry was tasteless. The dish came to $19. Gave them a call to complain but was not compensated. I will never order from them again, dont waste your time and money with these guys, go somewhere else.

Good: generous portions, fair prices. Bad: waitress was very gruff, and seemed very grumpy. Someone was yelling from kitchen all the time. Food was just ok.

Food was over cooked and tasted horrible. It was like getting the very bottom of the pot at the end of the day. We thought we’d give them one more chance. They blew it.

Food is consistently great — the only reason I kept coming back despite repeated service blunders. Orders lost in the system, over an hour-long wait for pick-up despite arriving on time, and a “free” promo added online but later denied because I was $3 short before tax. They even called to ask if I wanted to add another item to qualify, though I didn’t need anything else. It was their website’s error, yet somehow I ended up feeling bad for not spending more…?

My last visit? I placed the order online as usual, arrived at the confirmed time, and was told they had “forgotten” to enter it.

Service in these cases has been curt and insincere, with the same excuse every time: “We’ve been really busy.” Perhaps hire more staff?

Good food can only carry bad service so far — no meal is worth feeling like your business doesn’t matter.

Picked up our order tonight, brought it home and found it smelt fishy. Cut into it and it seemed rubbery and didn’t look anything like what we normally get. We decided to try and eat it anyway. I cut half to share between the 3 of us. It was so rubbery, we ended up throwing it out. I’m not one to call and complain, but what bothered me was that it was so fishy and called to ask why? I called and spoke to a lovely lady, who then passed me over to another woman who I suspect is the owner. I said I would bring it to show her and she told me not to come back with the food, rather I should text her a picture to her personal cell phone number. I texted that it was like rubber, cold and burnt. I asked her if it was cooked in the same oil that they had fried fish in. She proceeded to tell me that she had 3 different cooks and that if I wanted the same as two weeks ago I would have had to special order it that way? I had no idea what she was talking about as I had ordered it off the menu two weeks ago and it was excellent, light and fluffy. She proceeded to tell me then that my taste buds were off and that it should taste that way. I said fishy? She said yes…I’ve eaten chicken egg foo young hundreds of times and not once (except for today) had it ever tasted fishy. Never at any point did I ask for my money back. Instead, I told her that it wasn’t edible and also that they should warn people that they use oil that has previously been used to cook shellfish and fish, and they should be WARNING people. Heaven for bid someone have an anaphylactic episode or be rushed to the hospital. She proceeded to continue to beret me and say I’m not giving you a refund. Again, I never asked her for a refund. She kept cutting me off and yelling at me, so I told her no worries, I wouldn’t be ordering again. Blue Sky Garden I’ll find another Chinese food restaurant to order from, one that values their patrons and their health.

I can not beleive restaurants especially Chinese are still using red dye in their sweet and sour sauce...as we had a large order we bought for fathers day and it took two days to get the stain off my fingers!

I was looking for a good Chinese food in Windsor, and I think I may have found it.
Quality of the food was amazing! And the taste as well!
Service was on point and the owner! She was sooo nice too!

We discovered Blue Sky because a group of us (12) like to try a new place every Friday instead of eating the same thing all the time. This was a hidden gem. Ever since our first visit, we now make it a point to dine in often. It's become our go-to place for Chinese food. The service we get is an absolute joy, she always fits right in. Never had an issue accommodating a large group.

We tried out Blue Sky restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. They have an extensive menu, everything was delicious, and plenty to eat and take home. The service was excellent, it felt like coming home to my parents' house. The price point was very reasonable as well. We regularly go to restaurants, but in the last couple of years, the other restaurants were nothing but disappointments. I'm glad we found Blue Sky restaurant.
