The duct taped price board, torn up signs and sketchy RV style water lines running along the ground make me think there's a lot of corners being cut here. More than $30 for a really bad Pogo and very soggy tiny fry, plus a cheeseburger with a meat patty I could probably see through. If you're looking to feed the family on a Hwy 11 trip I'd advise against it. When owners seem angry that you're ordering food it makes me think it might not be the best place to eat.

We were told, this chip truck had improved after new management came in. I can confirm, YES! Definitely go get the fries!!Burgers were great too and service was fab! All genuine smiles no matter the weather! I would go again no question. Best fries I've had in a long while! We had the family serving of fries and the 3 of us adults demolished it along with a dbl cheese burger and a dbl hamburger. Gravy is on point too.Thank you so much!Sorry no pics it was that tasty!

We ordered 2 poutine the fries were cold gravy was cold the grated cheese wasn’t melted it tasted disgustingI also ordered jumbo hot dog the hotdog wasn’t cooked it was cold and my bun was burnt I do not recommend this place at all if you want to eat well

This is the second summer in a row my grandsons and I have gone for ice cream at Theodore's while visiting Temagami. We made multiple visits each time we were there. There seems to be two women regularly working the window. One of them was lovely, the other was nasty. She snapped at my grandson for changing his mind about what flavour of ice cream he wanted. She hadn’t even started writing down his order when he changed his mind and she yet acted like he had hugely inconvenienced her. And yep, they write down your order but fairly consistently get it wrong anyways. Something as simple as putting ice cream in a cup vs a cone should be pretty straight forward and yet they never got it right. It’s a small thing but it matters that the ice cream is in a cup when you have a 4 year old eating ice cream on a hot melty day! Oh and as far as I can tell a small ice cream is the same size as a medium in spite of the price difference. What the real headache about this place is though is the wait time. It’s astonishing! This year we waited about 10 minutes to get our ice cream. Now in fairness that is a huge improvement from last year where we waited 15 to 20 minutes to get our cones. The folks waiting for food were waiting up to 25 to 30 minutes for their orders. There appeared to only be 3-4 orders being waited on. It seems that food orders are made one at a time and take a good amount of time for each one. I can not speak to the quality of the food as I could not whip up the patience to wait for a food order. It must be reasonable or I can’t imagine why people would wait that long for food. As far as I can tell though Theodore’s is the only option for “fast food” in town so maybe that’s why people tolerate the wait. There was another place a block further up the road but it was closed the entire week we were there. Fingers crossed it’s open next summer!

Gross n not worth it. Waited 25 mins for a burned hamburger n 2 fries half cooked. Not organized at all..no napkins no forks or even a toothpick for our fries that were brown n not golden brown change your oil...wont be back.

I have no clue why this place has anything below a 5 star review. Unreal fries and amazing fish burger. Staff members were all super kind and friendly and food was cooked and prepped fresh

Ordered a poutine, 2 pogos and 2 pop. The gravy was on the top center area of the fries, the middle & bottom fries were dry. The gravy was full of clumps and tasted weird. We asked for a little container for the pogos, she said she couldn't give us a container because of paper costs but pulled out a box and sternly told us not to throw it in their garbage. All we really needed was a little container to put some ketchup/mustard in. Didn't appreciate the food or the service. Will not be returning. $30 for coagulated gravy and an awful interaction.
