What an amazing buffet today! I’ve never seen so much variety, and the quality was excellent. Service was lovely as well!

I recently booked a Staff Christmas Party at Tap That Kitchen +Bar. The menu was completely customizable ! We had almost 50 guests attend. The Food was amazing and the atmosphere was the best you can get in the area. A private event that allowed everyone to interact and not feel on display for other patrons, which is typically what happens with such a large group. The staff were friendly and accommodating ensuring everyone was comfortable and taken care of the entire night. Thank you all again for such a memorable night. We will be back again next year ! First time visiting, and unfortunately the experience wasn’t what we hoped for. Our appetizer arrived before our drinks, which felt a bit off, though the manager did apologize and comp the drinks, which we appreciated.
Our server, Sherry, made the visit uncomfortable. She stood very close when speaking to us and came across as loud and overwhelming. She mentioned several times that she had gotten in trouble with the manager and talked openly about workplace issues. She also used language that didn’t feel appropriate for a dining setting and asked personal questions that felt intrusive. It made it difficult to relax and enjoy our meal.
The food itself wasn’t much better. The steak, ordered medium rare, came out rare, and when it was sent back it seemed reheated rather than properly cooked. The Chicken Parmesan lacked flavour, and the Caesar salad unexpectedly had popcorn in it—which we were told was a gluten-free option, though it wasn’t listed on the menu. When my friend asked about it, Sherry responded with “What, have you not been here before?” which felt unnecessary and dismissive.

Came in for a bite to eat. Was served by Sherry great service from her, humorous and personable very welcoming. Restaurant was very busy which was nice to see because food was great! There was a little bit of a wait but even with the restaurant being ao busy tbe service was quick.

All around not a good experience. Waitress was over the top and even leaned on my boyfriend while explaining how we got her in trouble as her “mean boss” saw her give us our apps before serving us our drinks, which we did not complain about but she made it a fact to bring it up to us multiple times making us all uncomfortable. Owner seemed nice but definitely under staffed and untrained.

We were looking for something fresh but not fancy after a long day on the road. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the many options available! We shared the rosemary brie to start (perfectly baked) and had the full-size wicked Thai soup for main course (absolutely delicious - perfectly spiced and brimming with chicken and mushrooms). The service was equally excellent. Shout out to Mackenzie for her welcoming and efficient service! Highly recommend.

We were in the area for a two day conference. We ate our first night at TapThat and the food was so good, original and fresh that we decided to eat here again, on our second night.
HIGHLY recommend you check out Tap That. Also,Kira the waitress did an amazing job given how busy it was!
