Great room. We only stayed there for a night. Conveniently located and has a gas station. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay on the North Shore.

What a great restaurant with especially talented staff!

Rooms: Very clean and well appointed, the rooms were great and the water, hot. We had a great time at the bar, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere relaxed, the lighting was very nice.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt in Chicago and the bed was as hard as a rock. I couldn’t sleep. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable.

Showed up without any reservations and they were able to accommodate me at a very reasonable price. The room was very clean and felt very cozy. The restaurant is very convenient, and offers lots of different options. Esso gas station also located on site.

Lovely little motel. Price is great. Rooms are very clean, modern. Love the fridge and microwave, coffee service in the room.

Rooms: Lovely character rooms. Feel like you are at a lodge. Modern, clean. Very happy with the room. Will stay here again.

Nearby activities: Beach is absolutely gorgeous. Lake Superior was amazing. Very refreshing swim.

Food and drinks: The atmosphere, very excellent, very cost effective. Staff were very friendly and professional and had a lot of fun. We had dinner in the bar.

After traveling across the country and staying in some great hotels and some not so great hotels, I wasn't expecting what I found at this little gem. No smells, clean rooms, clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. I was an after hours arrival and the motel called me prior to arrange key pickup. Would stay here again !!

Food was much better than expected. The shrimp pad Thai was so good I had it both nights. Hotel room was solid and definitely the best in the area.

We were there on the August long weekend. We loved the deep fried pickles and the Caesars. The serving staff was friendly and remembered us on our third visit.
