Very friendly bartender. Good beer that we could taste test before ordering. Dog friendly inside. Toys and water for the dogs. Great atmosphere!

Good beer BUT there is no food on premises. Future travelers should know in advance that notations on-line stating otherwise are inaccurate. We were traveling through and looked forward to a late lunch/early dinner so planned to stop. That said, the server allowed us a taste to make sure our choice was good. We both had the Lighthose Red Ale and enjoyed it immensely. We were told we could bring in takeout but opted to move along.

If you're travelling on highway 17, plan on making a stop here. Brian and Siobhan create the best atmosphere with top notch beer. They are some of the nicest people you'll meet. It's just a special place in every way!
Very accommodating and pleasant place to visit.And beer is excellent. The lighthouse on the beer can is very well done. I will be going back again.

I’ve had @slate_island_brewing_company on my must visit list and finally made it before closing time. I can’t even remember the kind of beer I bought but after the taste test I was sold !!!I’m definitely stopping by on my way back west for another jug - but this time it will be the large one !!!!I’m looking forward to sitting down with my brother and drinking it !!Another place to visit when you get to Terrace Bay!! Is your list getting longer now ? ? .. they are located in the plaza behind the lighthouse. Cheers ?
