The host (a guy, short hair, blond & young) was super racist by letting people in who were white and spoke English (people who didn’t have reservations at all cause we heard them also asking for a table) when we were waiting before all those people… NEVER CAME BACK AGAIN.

Came to the village for our getaway from reality to relax and unwind, only to have the worst dining experience. Yes it was in season busy time for the village but for a Friday evening this restaurant should have properly prepared for the amount of volume- I’ve seen busier restaurants and have gotten better service!
We had gotten seated for just the two of us and kindly waited for nearly 35 minutes before even been asked for a drink to start.. finally went to a staff member who seemed completely confused as to what we were stating, waited another 15 minutes to then again going and asking another server who mentioned he didn’t know who’s section we were in and that the server just left to go home? Finally got our drinks after 1 hour and food (simple dry burger and fries) an hour and 15 minutes later from when we initially sat down. Our server who kindly took us on(even not in his section) was kind and understanding, certainly didn’t deserve our anger and we apologized to him. Will certainly never go back to this place! Much better service and food alllll around the village than this mock of an Irish Pub!!

Everything was pretty good just don't get MJ's burger, it was bland and didn't get any sauce so it was dry :(

Great place in the blue mountain. Joe was the man on the bar and he was very friendly and helpful. Fish and chips - perfect. Menu with pictures from Feb 2025

This was simply the worst experience, this restaurant seemed to be racist and ignored our requests to order multiple times. We were very hungry and unfortunately we were served burgers that tasted like frozen supermarket patties. It was terrible and made us very unhappy.

MJ Byrne’s is the perfect après-ski pub at Blue—warm, lively, and pouring a perfect pint of Guinness. It’s like stepping into a cozy Dublin pub after a day on the slopes. Jason, a legendary barkeep, keeps the drinks flowing and the vibe just right. A must-stop for ski legs and Irish cheer. Sláinte!

this is my 2nd time visiting.. the first time was really impressive, the beef was very tender and delicious.. friendly service.. the 2nd time I came back I was very disappointed with the service and food.I ordered the same food as the first time I came.. when I ordered I knew it would be cooked on a hot grill so I ordered a rare steak but to my disappointment it was almost overcooked, the meat was tough and had lots of tendons and fat.

Came in February with friends, waited 50 mins at a table, no service. Asked twice, servers were rude and impatient. After 50 kins, still dud not have a drink. We left, most unfortunate.

The food was decent but not worth waiting an hour for. Not even super busy and we waited 20 minutes before our waiter even brought waters or a menu. Terrible service, gave us the most of their time when waiting for the bill to be processed.

Always a fun time. Visit the Parlor for a special steak dinner and great whisky selection.
