During our visit to Blue Mountain, we stopped at Sunset Grill and had a very disappointing experience. Our server was rude and unprofessional due to a simple misunderstanding. Instead of calmly clarifying things, she became dismissive and said, “I can’t read your mind.”
That comment was unnecessary and disrespectful. In a customer service role, situations like this should be handled with patience and professionalism. Unfortunately, her attitude completely ruined the experience for us.
We expected much better, especially in a busy tourist area like Blue Mountain.
French toast, friut bowl, 1/2 waffle, Avocado toast, a pot of tea. This was our full breakfast order.
The French toast was tasty, but without that cinnamon sugar, the egginess is more pronounced (yes i know the batter is egg). The Avocado toast was perfect and everything on it was meant to be there. The 1/2 waffle for kids was the best I have ever seen; consistent crispiness throughout, and soft on the inside.
While the price is quite expensive for breakfast, it definitely is worth eating here at least once. If you go before 11am, the wait time is quite less, as opposed to over 10-15 minutes arpund brunch time, as this popular place fills up consistently around holidays.

Great local restaurant to eat at.
Excellent breakfast food & drink choices.
Very friendly staff. Clean & comfortable seating.
Can get quite busy sometimes, maybe difficult to find a seat during busy hours. Waited about 2-5 minutes to have a sit down table for 2-4 people.
Plenty of options to choose from the menu. I really enjoyed the eggs & dessert.
Very delicious! Would visit again!

Good breakfast food, great buttery toast but home fries could be cooked longer, could use some more crispy edges. But the immaculate playlist they have makes up for it.

Food wasn’t good enough, it wasn’t fresh, maybe because it was Monday morning!

Super busy place but great spot for brunch. Tons of options and good portions.
We had the best time at brunch today! The service was beyond fantastic, the food was exactly what we were looking for and the vibe was spot on. The owner and her son were there - they couldn’t have been more positive and happy! And we had a server who was beyond outstanding - good luck to him in Australia!! Thanks for putting up with our boisterous group of 8 and making us feel super welcome!

Isaias’s the greeter was exceptional and friendly and very accommodating. Wait staff was equally great, food was great especially considering it was a full house. Thank you.
