The only coffee stop on the Georgian Trail between Collingwood and Thornbury …great Americano
Cookies were great. Coffee not the greatest. Service not very friendly. Updated from 2 to 3 stars because owner responded to review immediately.
I am local and stop here a few times a month. (Would be daily if they were nicer to deal with.) They make a good Americano. However every time I stop by he makes me feel like I am bothering him, and that he has more important things he needs to do. My wife felt the same and hasn't gone in months. But there is no where else in this area so I keep going hoping for a different result. To the owner "figure out customer service because it's worth the 20 minutes to avoid you."
A good place to stop and get a treat or a snack. There are picnic tables to sit at as well as inside seating. There is a washroom for customer use.
We're from out of town and dropped Surf Cafe seeking croissants ? and coffee, and we found it. Chef Chris knows his croissants. If you're looking for a delicious French butter croissant, go here. We also had 2 cappuccinos, one regular and one decaf. Both were delicious. Highly recommended for travelers. We updated the photo of the front entrance, with the old tree ? cut down.
This place is simply wonderful. Very good ambiance with outside seating arrangements. The sandwich menu options are very good. I tried the Tuna sandwich and the egg sandwich. They were freshly made and tasted very good. I was recommended by a friend of mine who tried their food and loved it. It’s been few times I’ve tried their food and would highly recommend it.
Nice small cafe, seating place inside. Coffee, sandwitch , muffins etc.
We went for a walk-in, not realizing the pizzas were advance order only. However, the staff were so nice and accommodating and made us a pizza to have while we waited. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The Margherita pizza was good and hit the spot ? but.... I can't stop raving about the soup.. their butternut squash was perfect! So flavourful and rich.
Super place for lunch, great pizza on weekends for the skiing crowd, bottles of wine, and coffee. Nice staff and local owner.
Good espresso. Friendly service. Great views

Coffee was ok but I wish our cappuccinos had more foam - it was more like an espresso with milk. Also, the person behind the counter did not have a mask on, so keep that in mind.
We love this little coffee shop! Best homemade pizza around and the staff is amazing. You get our Friday nights off to a great start!
Fantastic, friendly service
Very nice little cafe next to the Northwinds beach. Good coffee.
Pizza is amazing. You will be thinking about it days later and planning the next time you will be able to eat it. If you are out and about … especially at Northwinds Beach relaxing… call them up and order a couple pizza’s for lunch or dinner on the way home. Coffee is also fabulous. Usually you don’t want to order “just the drip” because it’s never good… and end up ordering a americano… but not here. Drip is soooo great. Trail is right behind the shop for easy pedestrian and bike access. Plenty of seating on the picnic benches as well as patio. It’s so great to not have to go into town to get good food.
