Thorndale Family Restaurant ~Take Out ~ Dine In ~ Catering

The food was excellent very clean and friendly atmosphere.
I’m 75 years old and was a waitress at one time. I have never met a waitress as friendly and welcoming as there. Problem is I forgot her name. But since I’m moving to Thorndale next week I will get to see her again.

Was great, had a small bill so I tipped them 50% of my bill. When paying I asked if I could get a refill to go as she was ringing up my bill. Was told yes and then paid.

The lady starts bringing the coffee to the table I am leaving, and then say “I meant could I please get it to go” and then was told no it will be an additional $2.95. There was no customer service, the attitude was basically ya snooze ya lose.

Everything was fresh, but I can’t get over the fact I wasn’t allowed too leave with a coffee after being clear that’s what I wanted. And told that I can sit or I can pay $2.95

They've consistently had the most amazing breakfast for the best value. For YEARS. I've been going there since I was a child, and don't plan to stop any time soon.

One of my bucketlists was to try Greek food before we ended our short vacation in London so we headed for Thorndale. It was near closing time already when we dined-in but we had a great experience. The food was good - each meal with ample serving and came with drinks and dessert. We left the place full and happy. ? Will surely go back next time...

This is hands down the best food and service I have ever had at a restaurant. Our waiter Cleary loved her job, and was very friendly. I had the fish and chips with cod. It was amazing and a steal for $15

We went there for the first time today. We ordered the souvlaki. It came with a Greek salad and fries. The salad was one of the best I have ever had!! Absolutely perfect! The souvlaki was delicious. We also had a glass each of their Greek wine. It too was awesome.
What a gem this little restaurant is!! It brought back memories of our travels to Santorini and Mykonos. Looking forward to returning to have lunch or dinner again soon.

We went there today for lunch (first time). I was craving a Greek salad (a genuine Greek salad) and I wasn't disappointed. We ordered the souvlaki which included the Greek salad and fries. So,so good. Absolutely delicious! We also had a glass each of their Greek wine. Again, it was wonderful. It brought back memories for us for when we traveled and stayed in Santorini and Mykonos. Looking forward to dining at your delightful restaurant again soon.

This place had the best burgers around. If you ever find yourself in Thorndale it's a must. The service was great but I can't say enough about that burger though. Wow it was good.

Stopped in for lunch during a road trip. Super friendly service. Good homemade food. Was offered baklava for dessert and couldn't say no.
