Hours on Google are wrong. Pulled off the hwy. wasted my time. Thanks
So disappointing.
It was a slow Monday evening. Only 4 customers in the restaurant. I stood by the "Wait to be seated" sign for a solid 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. The older lady at the bar (Tanya I believe) finally acknowledged me after a woman walked past me to the bar, and ordered a beer to go. After she served her, she said she would be right with me. A young woman then approached me and showed me to a table.
I ordered a ceasar while looking the menu over. I decided on the French Dip, and it was honestly the least flavourful French Dip I've ever had. Shortly after I got my food the young waitress started to approached me, until she witnessed me struggling with a particularly tough chunk of meat in my sandwich, then she swiftly turned away from my table and kept walking.
Around that time, Tanya seated a couple next to me. In a restaurant with only 2 other patrons in it, at this point. It was now that I realized that Tanya was waiting on everyone except for me. When the couple next to me also ordered the French Dip, I learned that I could have gotten soup or salad instead of fries. Wish I had been told that when I ordered. Was also only checked up on once to see if I needed/wanted anything.
I get that the young woman is probably new, but the whole experience has just left me throughly irritated.
I had a quarter of my drink left, and half a plate of fries when she brought me my check. That I didn't ask for. She also didn't ask if I wanted anything else before bringing it.
$35 for a boring ceasar, and a subpar French Dip.
Maybe it was my ratty work jeans and Deadpool tshirt that got me this service. Who knows. I usually tip 15-30% depending on the service I get. Today I got $2 worth of service.
I'm also posting the menu since it's not on their website for some reason.

Tried this restaurant for dinner while staying at the hotel. Nicely renovated space and atmosphere. Our server was friendly but not knowledgeable. We asked if we could order a whisky sour and amoretto sour cocktail and she said she didn’t know how to make them but she could google anything and said that was how they pretty much do things here and instead offer us a blue lagoon or a screwdriver. We politely passed and ordered wine and a straight whiskey and ginger to keep it simple. The food menu was quite confusing since the restaurant is labeled as an Italian Pasta and Wine Bar. Burgers, meatloaf, buffalo Chicken wrap, fish & chips etc on the menu. But only 1 pasta dish and 1 pizza. Even the desserts were off - an apple tart. I was hoping for a tiramisu or gelato. Again quite strange choices for an “Italian”
restaurant. We ordered the clam chowder, buffalo chicken wrap and the meatloaf. The meatloaf was terrible - hard burger patties wrapped with bacon, dry lumpy mashed potatoes and soggy vegetables. The buffalo chicken wrap came with no buffalo sauce - so the server ordered another one for my partner but brought the wrong one out to us just incase we didn’t mind the sauce missing. The chowder was ok. Never would dine here again. As an fyi, they have a buffet breakfast - $23 +taxes per person. We didn’t partake as it didn’t look very inspiring. A lot of pre packaged baked goods and fruit salad from a container (not fresh), basic apple and orange juice. Only 3 hot items. Really disappointing as alternate choices for restaurants require a 10 minute plus drive. Unfortunate as I’m sure many people would come (even locals like me) even if not staying at the hotel for meals and drinks if the food was good.

Went in for a quick dinner after arriving at the hotel, I was greeted and seated quickly. I had Tanya as my server and she was amazing! She gave a great recommendation on what to try and she was spot on with how good the French Dip was! She was a pleasure and delight to chat with! Thank you so much for such great service Tanya!

Food was meh. Caesar salad was mostly stems, Sysco croutons. Pizza was the best thing we tried. Chicken burger was the thinnest, therefore driest little breast. Server was lovely and attentive. It was really open and bright (in a bad way). Will stay at the hotel again but won't spend money at the restaurant.

Love it
Pepperoni pizza from frozen and overdone. ?My 4 points hamburger was cooked well but the ingredients were cheap meat (poor taste) and unripe tomatoes. I did not eat it.The staff were accommodating and polite. The grounds have many burnt out lights at night along the walkways. Parking is limited.

It was great the food was awesome loved our experience.
Was staying in the hotel and looking forward to a nice meal on Sunday night. Went into the restaurant, which only had one other table with people at it (table of 10 with adults and kids) when we sat down they were been brought their food. We waited and waited for the waitress to acknowledge us and bring us a menu, ten minutes later she did. We ordered drinks, another 10 mins passes no drinks she hasn’t come back. So we left. 20 mins, no drinks, no service. I will never eat there again.
Very good
I can’t give enough stars for this place! The convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel was perfect after a long drive and a very tired child. They were extremely helpful with working around my food allergies and making a dinner that I could eat. The food was excellent and very much worth the money. I ended up getting a grilled chicken breast and steamed veggies. My nephew got the grilled cheese. He too greatly enjoyed his meal. Jessie at the bar was the nicest host ever. He spent a great deal of time tweaking a chicken dinner so I could eat. He also spent quite a few minutes talking with my nephew about music. Great guy!
