The homemade bakery goodies are to die for. I go before work. When I work from home I make the drive from north end and back home. So worth it. The Oat Latte is better than Starbucks. The breakfast bagel is one of my favourites as well.

Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised to find an affordable, tasty, and healthy joint! I got the bean salad and iced americano all for 11$! Amazing. I went back again later on and grabbed the Turkey, Brie and spinach on a croissant and it was by far the best Turkey Brie sandwich I’ve had in ages! Am now a happy regular of The Essential!

We are visiting from out of town and loved meeting Dan and Alexandra, the owners. They were so kind and gave us advice on where to go hiking because we love to hike! We enjoyed the coffee, croissant sandwich, bagel sandwich and dessert! It was a very warm and welcoming place.

This cafe is a cozy, bright and beautiful! The owners are lovely people who ll always greet you with amazing smiles that ll make your day! Food is 5/5, drinks are 5/5! Shout out to their mushroom soup that I had today, it was soooo amazing!! They also have loyalty cards ! I d recommend to try this LOVELY place, you ll never regret that. A true gem among coffee shops - great coffee, tea, and smoothie menu. An excellent selection of breakfast and lunch sanwiches, muffins, and croissants. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Do yourself a favour and check it out!
