Purchased a 2 piece haddock dinner. The fish was mainly all batter and under cooked. Fries were over cooked and they looked like the oil needs to be changed. Disappointing as this was my go to for fish and chips.

Wait staff were very friendly, it’s the nicest looking fish and chips place I’ve ever been in (nice seating area with tables and a T.V.). My girlfriend and I got the shrimp with fries and the poutine. The shrimp were a nice big size and we got plenty of delicious home cut fries. For $20 it fed both of us and there was a little food left over. check this place out and support local IT IS WAY BETTER THAN MCDONALDS!

The owners are amazing at this restaurant!! The service is great, they tell you exactly what time it will be ready and its ready when you walk in for your pick up always in a reasonable time. Everything is cooked PER ORDER so its very fresh!! The portions fish and fries are big which is great especially feeding the kids that eat like horses!!! The mozza sticks……. Omg the pull of that cheese and cooked perfectly!!!!! Would 10/10 recommend Thorold fish and chips to everyone best fish and chips i have had!!!

I took my parents out while they were down for a visit, they got fish, I got chicken… I also got food poisoning 🫠 maybe just avoid the chicken

Cute little mom and pop shop. The fish was fresh and crispy on the outside and well cooked inside. It was missing salt though. Fries are okayish. Also, missing salt. The tartar sauce was really good.

Food was ready on time but under cooked. I had ordered for myself and two friends. I ended up putting mine in the oven at home to finish cooking. The fish was pale (batter undercooked) and the fries were as if they only had the first fry of a two part process, soggy and undercooked. Very disappointing.
