This is my third time eating here in the past month. I had the 2-piece haddock dinner each time and each time it was fantastic! Generous portions and at a great price too! I’ll be coming back!

Ordered ahead still had to wait 20 minutes for order to be complete the fries are over cooked in oil that clearly needs changing fish is good service at the desk terrible completely disappointed wish I could share pictures of how disgusting the fries

Ordered a single haddock and chips. I grew up going to various fish and chip places (my dad used to run 3 prior to my birth), and I have enjoyed them many times over the years. I would agree with a few others here that it's not the best I've had (fish was a little soggy on the bottom), but overall, I would visit again if back in Thorold. I would have preferred seeing plates other than plastic, but that's just me being picky now. Very quiet place around 12:30-1 on a Friday. Meal was shy of $15.

Ordered from Skip, had the halibut, ordered 2 pieces, the fish batter was not cooked properly, when the batter opened it was wet and sludge like inside, it was so greasy, the fries were ok, and the coleslaw was like soup, with a strong taste of vinegar.

Amazing fresh fish sizes are big and I Love the skin left on the fries will be going back again the whole family enjoyed the food

This rating is meant to be merely constructive criticism. The fish was drenched in oil the fries were cold and the coleslaw was cubed not grated(cabbage) which was new to me. Just saying. I hope you take the time to properly drain off the excessive oil moving forward.

First time ordering from here .Had 2 piece Haddock dinner and one for my husband as well and gotta say it was delicious!The Women that took the order was very nice ,it was fast and fresh .When my husband picked it up said they seemed very nice ,I hope you all support them ,Job well done Thank-you. My husband and I were at The Thorold Community Market while waiting to watch the evening concert, we decided to have some dinner at the market. We decided on Thorold Fish and Chips. We ordered the fish wrap,cheeseburger,onion rings and french fries. One of the best fish wraps we ever had...everything was delicious..fries were cooked to perfection and the cheeseburger cooked throughly and so juicy. Can't wait to go back next week.

We heard that the original owner's family returned to the location with an original family recipe, so I sent my husband to pick up fish for dinner tonight (family of 5, 2yo twins and a 4 yo) a six piece dinner fed us all beautifully! And honestly I'm blown away by the batter, we order fish and chips in Niagara (various locations) every single Friday evening, and this is hands down the BEST battered fish I have ever had. Even better-- all three kids asked for seconds and thirds--Well done! And thank you so much for bringing it back to share! I can't wait to order again next week with my parents!

Fast service, super kind and hard working staff. Great quality food; I usually don’t even like fish but I’ll eat theirs. Over all really positive environment and very sanitary (if you look for that kind of stuff). I don’t know how anyone could say anything bad. New management has completely turned the place around, ive never seen it look so good.
