I ordered 2 clubhouse sandwiches on Dec.3/25 for takeout for 6:30PM. They looked really good and I ate 2 pieces of the sandwich and I was full so I gave my hubby one piece and he started to eat it and pulled a long Grey hair from the food in his mouth. 🤮🤮
So I called there and they told me that they were closed and to call back in the morning. So I go there and show them the hair that I had in the takeout box and the waitress I had talked to went and talked with the owners to see if they would refund my money and they said no. Not very good customer service.
So I just let everyone know that was eating breakfast there that I had hair in my food from last night. I will never support Queen's Cafe or recommend it. They are disgusting people. You should be ashamed of yourselves being a business owner.

We showed up mid afternoon after completing some tests at the hospital.

There were just a few other patrons at the time.

Our waitress was fun and attentive!

We were served quickly and the food was hot and fresh.

We had the Hot Hamburger and one of their daily specials; Pork Schnitzel . Both plates came with vegetables and your choice of potato. The specials also come with a coffee.

We sealed the deal with a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie and a chocolate sundae.

Our kind waitress made a chocolate sundae for my hubby when she realized they didn’t have pumpkin pie he had ordered.

Everything was delicious!

Did not realize it was cash only. They said I could go to the bank next door and get some. Very friendly waitresses also friendly customers.

Was looking to have breaky with an out of town friend, and asked AI what 'the best breakfast restaurant was in Tillsonburg'.. and its answer was; Queens Cafe Restaurant on Broadway Street.
We're all told not to trust AI, but hot damn this was a great breakfast. Unassuming locale/decor, not a fancy place, just perfect food and astonishingly unobtrusive yet attentive service provided by Kate.
I'll be back.

Old school dinner feel. It's has been about 7 months since we had been here and it has gone down a bit. Weird soup that was called tomato mac it looked pinkish, didn't see any tomato in it, didn't even taste like tomato. I asked if was a cream soup and was told there is no dairy in it. They use a brown/beef gravy on turkey. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant. The burger was a generic burger not homemade. The prices are good but the old saying pay what you get is true here. They do have some hidden gems the farmers sausage and the roast beef are good. If you go CASH only

Places like this are few and far between. I have lived in Tillsonburg for over two years and can’t believe this is my first time here, and I love it! Hot beef with fries and veggies, gravy on everything is my diner go-to and Queen’s serves a great plate. Mum had baby beef liver and onions with veggies and it was spot on. There’s something on the menu for everyone and I highly recommend Queen’s Cafe for anyone who likes to EAT! Skip those overpriced conglomerate franchises and treat yourself to Queen’s, a real gem on Broadway and a great asset to the town.

(Please keep in mind, they are a cash only establishment)

Back again! :) I had the New York steak, mum had a cheeseburger and fries. Both just as quick and delicious!

Back again!

Worth mentioning, and at the risk of sounding old fashioned, there are REAL attentive WAITRESSES who are more than friendly and full of smiles. (they’re not a bunch of teenagers trying to find themselves) I really appreciate that!

This place is exactly what you find almost nowhere else; an honest-to-goodness small-town diner! Food is simple and unassuming, service is great and there's always a lot of people in it.

This is a great place for a quick bite, or to really soak up the nearly-lost vibe of a true diner. I love it, and come every time I'm in Tillsonburg.

Parking: It's often busy, but you can usually find a street spot pretty close. I love that small towns still have free parking... almost like they WANT people to go downtown!

Kid-friendliness: My nephew is always treated kindly and they take his request for substitutions seriously and always bring him exactly what he asks for. Kudos for treating kids like real customers!

Wheelchair accessibility: It's tight in this place, but my mom is in a wheel chair, and they made it work!
