I used to go there in 1985,my dad was a regular jack McCann use to say to the girls u still take cash here we had some good times and I'm gald their still going congratulations

The Fishbowl has a very beautiful and unique atmosphere, really making you feel like you're at sea with the turquoise blue walls and the really nice wood decor. We came for dinner, and service was fantastic the entire meal. Our waitress was very friendly and kind and we saw (who we presume to be) the owner walking around talking to guests. Nice touch overall.
I'd say the food is, okay if I'm being honest. I personally ordered the Fisherman's Platter, and it is a little on the pricier side at $33. The seafood was good, but the rice and vegetables weren't the greatest. Would still recommend coming to try the Fishbowl for the good service and unique atmosphere!

Very unique restaurant with amazing dish selection. This restaurant really surprised. The interior decoration is very exclusive – looked to me like a mix of Irish pub and French restaurant. The menu is huge and has special and one-of-a-kind items. For example, they offered bouillabaisse and pecan crusted maple Dijon chicken. I settled for the Frech Onion Chicken – it was amazing. It spotted two decent sized chicken breasts with LOTS of cheese/onions on top of it and came very hot (as food should). My colleague ordered the Fish and Chips. The portion size was plenty (take home box was needed) and it tasted “delicious”. I would have liked our server to be a bit more enthusiastic and positive. But this could have been an off day. And since the serves was ok, the price-portion ratio very good and the food selection outstanding, I still would say it was above my expectations. My Rating: '4 Stars' = Very Good, '5 Stars' = Way Above Expectations

Good preparation of fish and seafood. I had the pickerel which was simple but well prepared and in no way dried out. Fries are delicious. Extensive menu with lots of seafood and other choices. Huge dessert menu with a very good house made tarte au sucre. Attentive service and a kind of fun and funky underwater decor in blues and greens. We will return when in Timmins!

I ordered calamari appetizer and seafood linguine. My appetizer was just frozen low quality calamari that was overcooked and chewy but the coating and dipping sauce were good. The seafood linguine definitely came out with precooked and then microwaved linguine noodles. The two shrimp in the whole dish were from a frozen shrimp ring and the calamari were beyond edible. I tried and tried to chew them but they were elastic bands. The tiger shrimp Caesar cocktail did not contain a tiger shrimp but ONE frozen shrimp ring shrimp. I sent my food back which I can honestly say I have only done maybe 3-4 times in my entire life. The waitress asked me if I wanted someone else to remake it for me and I honestly thought if anybody working in that kitchen thought sending my plate out in the first place was ok, I didn’t want the food they were making anyway and said no thank you. My family of 3 ended up spending 150 dollars on dinner and stopped for fast food on our way home

We arrived at closing time and they still allowed us in. The woman who served us was extremely friendly and the food was immaculate. The decorations and atmosphere was cosy and the place was extremely clean. Overall, this is a very inviting, generous and thoughtful place and has been one of my favourite places to eat while in Canada. 100% recommend to anyone passing through Timmins.
