I ordered take out and once I received it. It was cold. The ribs were put in a bag instead of a container. First time using skip the dish. Not impressed.

About the best place to eat in the Timmins west end, as you are usually not bothered by bums and crack heads this far west of town. Food is great, as well as the service and price is right. Very kid friendly as well.
Really enjoyed our meals here this evening....we experienced exceptional service from the moment we walked in on a very busy dinnertime.we had to wait a few minutes for our table but their system does a great job of keeping you updated about how long the wait is going to be...had a great table for the five of us. Our server Karine was amazing....friendly, efficient...took our orders quickly for drinks...then dinner. Food was hot and well prepared...steaks were spot on so thanks Chef!...overall a great dining experience...would recommend for your family dining experience.

It's the same as any other Montana's. The food was good and it's a good price. I went on 2 got 1 wings night. So that was really good. And the rooms were actually a really good size and very tasty.
Staff were pleasant. Had a few mistakes with our orders as we have some dietary restrictions, but our waiter was quick to get things fixed and ensure we had an enjoyable meal. Music was a bit too loud for my liking as it felt like we had to raise our voices to hear each other, but otherwise, a nice dining experience.

I was in Timmins for a 3 night stay. I had dinners on 2 nights. The servers were great, as was the food. I had a steak one night and ribs the other night. And desserts on each night. All were prepared and served as expected.

I haven't been to a Montana's in awhile but I feel like it may have gone a bit downhill. The food was fine but nothing special to me. I used to really like it. Antijitos were lacking in peppers but looked great. Steak and fries tasted decent but didn't look very appealing for some reason. The onion rings included did not look anywhere near as good as the ones in the menu.
Decent prices.
I'd come back but I can't recommend someone go out of their way to visit.

My family and I love going to Montana's, we've been for many years and have had very few complaints if any. Our last experience was the worst I've ever had. When we arrived, the hostess who sat us was amazing, she sat us promptly and made sure we had everything. Our server on the other hand was awful. The was 5 of us, my wife, myself, my wife's grandmother, my 6 year old and my 2 year old. Our server took our drink order and completely forgot or didn't care to ask for our 2 year olds drink order, after we got half of our drinks, we didn't see her again for the other half until about 10 minutes later. When she returned, my wife asked about a drink for my 2 year old and the server looked confused, rolled her eyes and went to get it. After that, we had to wait a bit to order (our fault) but when she did come to take our order she either forgot again or didn't care to ask for our 2 year olds order. We saw her maybe twice before our meal came and each time my wife tried to get her attention but she ignored us. After we got our meal, she showed up 5 minutes later to ask if we were okay, and then tried to basically run away before we could answer, my wife had to yell out to her to get her attention. My wife had said she thinks the server forgot our daughter's order, the server replied with "oh okay?" So we ordered for her and we got it half way through our meal. We saw her maybe once more after that to ask for dessert, once we got that, we just asked for the bill right away so we could get out of there.
My wife and I were extremely upset with the service we received and are honestly disappointed that our daughter was either forgotten about twice or the server simply didn't care to ask about her order. She may only be 2 but she at least deserves to eat and drink too.
I hope the next time we go the service is better as every other time was great. I'm thinking the server was simply having an off night as this location is usually great.
