Firstly, the staff wear gloves to make the sushi, then touch people's drinks with the same gloves. It's unsanitary. Secondly, I gave a five dollar tip, and the woman behind the counter did not thank or even acknowledge me. Although the food was okay, the customer service was very disappointing. The server also messed up the drink. Horrible experience, my last time coming here!
I was little new for sushi but got some amazing suggestions from a chubby girl working there. I tried teriyaki bombs before and the bombs were yummy. Got my sushi rolls yesterday and those were nice. Variety of combos available too. I would say the customer service is great here and very welcoming atmosphere as well.
Rude older woman serving the front of the restaurant needs better people skills. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but doesn't mean that you select who are you civil with. Woman gave me the could shoulder but was fine with the younger employee who she was training?? She ignored me when I said I wanted extra sauce and didn't even acknowledge (no nod, no smile, no eye contact) when I thanked her for my take-out bag. Good food, bad service. Pricy for what you receive.
