Paid for calamari. Then told don't have any. Refunds not possible.

Went back 2 days later, only 1 other person infront of us. Paid for haddock... waited 45 mins for them to tell me they've run out (serving sit down customers who ordered after us!). We ended up with not what we ordered (tables that arrived after us got the haddock).. and waited over an hour. Seems like if you get a table they skip serving takeout so you can end up waiting hours.

This place is so poorly run it's not funny.

We have mostly enjoyed this restaurant but our last visit was just incredibly bad. We walked into an almost empty restaurant (only one other couple were seated) so we chose a table and sat down. What happened next was just unbelievable. A young server told us that we had to get up and go back to the door and wait to be seated so that she could clean the table (it seemed clean to us). She said that it was "common courtesy" to wait till someone showed us to a table. If that's the case, put a sign at the door that says "Please wait to be seated". She had a very rude attitude. Needless to say that we expressed our dissatisfaction and got up and walked out. We really hope that the owner of the Fin City brand, that we have met on a few occasions reads this and helps instruct the staff on the proper way to meet and greet patrons. I am sure the franchisee would not be pleased with this particular employee. This location already seems to be struggling for business and such poor customer service surely won't help build a faithful following.

Enjoyed the food; But As we were enjoying our food on a so called patio area; we were approached by a staff member close to 8pm that we were NOT to be in this area. She Basically told us to eat up and get going. That was the end of our nice meal. First and last time for us. Maybe you should remove the table and chairs and put up caution tape to block that area off, so we didnt have to be "scolded".

A great hidden gem right near inverhuron! We came here for lunch today and had a great time. Fish was cooked perfectly, we both had pickerel. The fries were great and tartar sauce too! Excited to try the desserts we got to go! Staff was super friendly and made for a great and easy experience. Would love to go back!!

Oh boy now this was really good yesterday! Food perfectly prepared, even the coleslaw. The couple running it (and cooking!) were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean. The place is not fancy, instead authentic, in these days of chain restaurants and 'looks' over value. The halibut fish and chips were so very good. Thank you Finn City.

Called day before to make reservations. "We dont do reservations " so 5 adults 2 children drive an hour there. We cant serve you as we have a RESERVATION!!!. So we were turned away. Very poorly organized. Very disappointing.

Called a day prior to reserve a spot to eat, was told we didn’t need reservations. We arrived on Father’s Day (group of 6 and 2 kids) and was turned away because someone made reservations? They made no sense and we wasted an hour drive there. Very unorganized.

They can be very busy so don’t be in a rush but the staff is great and try very hard. I am being a bit generous with 5 stars because our breaded scallops were still cold in the middle but they fixed it right away however they were also out of some fish options and coleslaw. The onion rings were nice and crispy. The price is good and the staff is great. FWIW - No alcohol.
