As always we had great food and service. We Dine with our elderly Father(91) once or twice a month. He always chooses The Boat House. Many times Nathan is our server he remembers us which makes PaPA feel important . He is also knowable and gracious. We love the mussels.. the sauce changes seasonally. Everything we have ordered is delicious. Thanks Boat House for giving us a great family dinner experience . .... Oh and the Skillet Brownie!!!!!! A must.

One of my favorite places. The water views are awesome, even in the dead of winter. The Food and Drink menus have something to offer for everyone's taste. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable from the time they say hello until they bid farewell. Well worth the 1 hour drive. Can't wait for summer and outdoor dining! Ample and free parking.

We both ordered the prix fix menu, my husband got the lamb dish which he really liked and I ordered the chicken pot pie which was way to salty so I didn't eat much of it. Our waitress was nice enough to only charge us for the soup that I had rather then charging me for the whole prix fix meal which I only ate one part of the three course meal.

I keep writing the same thing each time because the Boat House continues to provide excellent service and superior food options. Happy to see that Bolognese is back on the menu. It was excellent.

This was our second visit this time we were celebrating my birthday. The first visit was our anniversary. We are from Connecticut and only learned about this restaurant recently and now that we found it we are going to make it a destination every time we come to Rhode Island. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable! We are seated at our reservation time on a timely basis also. Both times our servers were very attentive

Celebrated a friends birthday with lunch in the enclosed outdoor seating area. Everyone loved the good! We had to change tables a few times as the angle of the sun kept chasing us! But the server was very accommodating as we requested to move. It was a lovely lunch.

This is our favorite place to eat for fine dining within 10 miles of our home. It is expensive, but the quality is always there, unlike some other places where we have been disappointed.

The food was outstanding. My wife had the bake stuff lobster. She said the stuffed lobster she has had in the past never had as much seafood in the stuffing like this one had. I had the shrimp scampi. The garlic balance was perfect. We have never had brussel sprouts as tasty as what we had on the 5th. And last the coffee was nice and strong the way we like it. The lemon marang cheese cake had a great balance of sweet and tart with the berry sauce that was over the top. Definitely will visit again.

Oysters were fresh, calamari was light and not rubbery. food was delicious (we had salmon and grilled shrimp), and drinks were perfect. Courtney our server was wonderful Oh yeh... We had a dessert we didn't really need (banana brownie skillet) that's was awesome.

I've been frequenting the boathouse since it was an outdoor patio bar and love this restaurant. It is currently better than ever in all regards. Thank you for being our Spectacular Local Chic Dining and Socializing place!
The restaurant and location are beautiful. The menu has a wide variety of choices and the wine selection is good. Food is always very tasty. Been here several times and it will remain on of our frequent stops.
AMAZING ? YUMMY AS USUAL ! Service was amazing and my swordfish was incredible! My husband loved his chicken sandwich ~ so much fun .... THANK YOU ?? SEE YOU SOON ????

Excellent view and food. We sat in the heated/covered porch area and got to see the first sunset of 2024 over the sockonnnett river/ nargansett bay! Service was friendly but a bit slow may be understaffed a bit but it was also New Years Day so quite busy. Winter Punch cocktail was excellent and was the sangria. Had the calamari and bread board apps which were delicious. I had the scallop and butternut risotto special which was excellent and others in our party had the short rib which was described as excellent.

The food at the Boathouse never disappoints. Our meals were delicious and the service was great. Our server, Kyle S., was very attentive. Whether we want a lunch or fine dining the Boathouse is our go to place!

Disappointed this visit. Server couldn't be bothered, never asked if we wanted another drink. Calamari was good but looked like it was thrown on the plate. Fish had no taste. Chowder was overpriced
