I was quite disappointed with my meal. The fish was flavorless, no seasoning in sight. The only plus was that the batter on the fish wasn't too oily and the meal arrived hot so it was obviously freshly made. The fries...I don't even know how to describe them properly. Two days old saltless McDonald's fries would probably be the best way to describe what they tasted like and I'm not even trying to be funny, just honest. They aren't the typical fries that you get at a restaurant. I was told by the server that they cut them and make them in-house. The meal could have been improved by adding a side of veggies/coleslaw, a slice of lemon, and some freshly made tartar sauce instead of the mass produced stuff in the packets. I had the all-you-can-eat fish meal with a bottle of pop and my meal cost $32.70. For this price I expected a lot better. But it's another case of "tourist pricing".
On a positive note. The service was excellent. I was greeted promptly and given a menu. The server was very friendly and attentive. My food also arrived quickly. The atmosphere was great and the space was clean and tidy. This made up a little for the bad food. I feel like I'd still give this place another try in the future if improvements are made.

Nice place, a very friendly lady who served us and had a delicious meal! Special atmosphere, but pleasant and good music or background. We were lucky because the business will close in a few days for 6 months.

Great patio, fast service, whitefish fish and chips were amazing, get the two piece, 1 piece was perfect but it was so good I wanted another, enjoyed the Jimmy Buffet + tunes. Perfect location if you are booked on the ferry.

Fish and Chips was great (hot and crunchy). Shoestring fries are very crispy but a bit too salty for my taste. Service is really fast (less than 10 min) as we are the only customer at the time.

I ordered Haddock & Chips, it was horrible, not crispy at all and the fries were half cooked, little stringy fries which were barely warm. The waitress was fantastic tho' did her job well . These were the worst fish & chips I ever had.

The food was good and served hot, which was impressive as we were a big group. The cost was reasonable but not cheap, and for that cost, I would have appreciated real cutlery instead of the disposable wood cutlery and paper plates we got and I did not get a glass and had to drink my pop out of the can. This place had the strangest bathroom I've ever seen, and they only had one. Where this restaurant stood out was the server, who was super fun, friendly and efficient. He made the whole dining experience fun. Thanks, John. All in all, it was a decent place to eat.

The best fish we have ever had !!!??? September 28th and still feels like summer at the dock ! The staff and service was impeccable and we will be back often even though it's a 3 hr drive from home ! Thanks so much !
