The best fish and chips in my life so far! You have to try the fried fish when have chance to pass by Tobermory. Not a tourist trap quality, and we will definitely come back to Tobermory just for having another fish and chips.

The All You Can Eat Fish and Chips was amazing, the batter wasn't overwhelming, nice thin crust, fresh white fish, chips were good but could have been the thicker kind. But overall very good food. No alcohol in the batter! Thank you for that!
What was most impressive was the service , John was amazing, so friendly, welcoming and made us out of towners feel very comfortable and have us top notch service which is priceless! Thank you John! You made our great dinner and excellent dinner. Keep up the great service.

Whitefish and Chips: - Super tender fish - Crispy shoestring fries that are well-salted
Chicken and Ribs: - Comes with 2 pieces each of chicken, baby ribs, and corn - Ribs was tender, a little on the sweet side - Chicken was nicely seasoned and not too cooked - Corn was BOMB:buttery, sweet, and had a flavourful spicy & herb-y seasoning
Honestly I wish we could have gotten the all-you-can-eat fish and chips! Loved the service and atmosphere as well. Prices are pretty steep but that seems on par with everything in Tobermory.

I had a burger with a side of rice.
The rice had too much soya sauce. Don't do that. Don't assume a customer wants rice soaked in soya sauce.
While the burger was tasty enough, when the bill came, I noticed that there was an upcharge for both cheese $2 and bacon $3. The waitress absolutely did not ask me if I wanted either. Thus they took it upon themselves to pad the bill.
Also, the fries are very lackluster and there just a lack of variety on the menu.
Low class move in my opinion. Very devious. She was a pleasant enough person, yet obviously devious enough to perform such a low class move. We wouldn't go back again anytime soon.

Food was very bland, 3 of us ordered the fish and chips and nobody enjoyed their meal. The haddock was very dry and the fries tasted the hickory sticks chips drenched in oil. Service was good as they were happy to take a takeout order close to their closing time but the food itself was very subpar.
We choose this restaurant because it was very to the boarding place. They have all you can eat, which I think was better option then ordering single menu. Ordered haddock fish & white fish, I liked white fish was better. The staffs are good there, washroom moderately clean. Cruise theme decoration. Recommended.

BEST fish & chips I’ve ever eaten! We ate the whitefish and it was outstanding! Service by Jennifer was top notch with great efficiency and with friendly vibes. Appreciated the pet friendly as well. Would recommend it to all and hope to go back again one day. 😍😍

We had ordered one white fish n chips and one haddock fish & chips. It was neither fresh nor tasty. Also, I found it costly compared to the portion served. The fries were cold n soggy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I both enjoyed our haddock and chips here. Our server was awesome, she is so friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable at $19.95 for a big piece of fish and fries. I prefer my fries a little thicker cut, these were the thin cut type, but they were good and I was hungry so it didn't matter lol. We will return to Shipwreck Lee's FOR SURE the next time we're in Tobermory!
