The chefs are great. I love the food they put out but the issues are always with the person taking orders. 1 person to serve, answer calls, assemble take out and take payments. They always mess up order. Ordering ahead of time doesn't help.

Editing to add: I’m not from another restaurant and your response only proves the owners are absolutely not fit to run a business. I’ve eaten here with my entire family, with my fiance, and taken food to go. I will be sure to tell this experience when speaking of your store.
I’m so disappointed to have to make this review. I have eaten here 5 times, 4 of those times have been great. The Kani salad is my favorite and I loved all the rolls I’ve tried. However the last time I went I only ordered the kani salad, and was given a free order of avocado rolls because they made them wrong (the server said). I ate half of both and within 20 minutes I was violently sick. I was sick multiple times throughout the night and the next day. I had not eaten anything else that could have made me sick prior, and I didn’t notice any kind of bad taste so I can only guess it was cross contamination or poorly cleaned kitchen since there wasn’t any actual fish in my order. Unfortunately due to this I cannot eat here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Also after this incident I checked reviews to see if anyone else had gotten sick and was shocked at the immature and unprofessional responses given by the business.

I was blown away the first time I picked up sushi from Kaisei. You can tell the chef is passionate, knowledgeable and works hard; the quality is all around excellent, from the quality of the fish and rice, to the portions, to the flavours; maybe it's the light touch with the blowtorch that the chef uses, but there are intricate flavours that elevates their sushi above others.
The staff is friendly and the interior is cute and niche. The chef definitely puts considerable time and effort into his craft so I would place orders ahead of time.
I hope the staff keep up their level of excellence. Restaurants are difficult operations to begin with, and have become more difficult with the current economic and social hardships. I hope the chef and the staff are taking care, especially with the amount of effort they put into this establishment.

This restaurant seemed to be different from those stores. It was very fresh and all the food was delicious. They proudly said that they use the best rice! and Customers can see sushi bars, so they pay attention to cleanliness and freshness.
