We had a really sad morning. I took my four kids to get a free pastry at the grand opening. Arrived before 10am and waited in line. Once we were let in I was declined the “free classic pastry” they advertised after waiting in the rain for 15 minutes. I love beavertails and was excited to have my kids try their very first.
We left empty handed and sad this morning. I wish they did not falsely advertise.
Beautiful location, clean and bright. Had the pistachio beaver tail. Amazing! Made hot and fresh. Will definitely be back!
Me and my husband went on there grand opening day and everyone was so friendly but the beavertails were delicious!
BeaverTails- Queues de Castor in Trenton is a quintessential Canadian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and outdoor look. The maple BeaverTail is delicious, although some may wish for a larger size. The staff, including Kyle and Nicole, are friendly and accommodating, using customers' names for a personal connection and being especially kind and playful with kids. The location is easy to find, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. There is tons of free parking available on site. This is definitely the spot to take kids of all ages, especially for a sweet treat to enjoy in the car on the way home. Many customers recommend trying the beaver bites and the beaver dog. Additionally, the restaurant has all allergy information on hand, which is appreciated. While there is room for improvement in the speed of order preparation, staff are helpful, explaining the allergy menu and remaking orders when necessary. Overall, visitors have had wonderful experiences and plan to return for more delicious treats.
