Visiting from out of town and the fries were burnt snd dried. 3 people working there and no one knows what their doing.

The fries are great - they take tap. The portions sizes are honestly too big - a specialty poutine will feed two.

Last year I went for a quick lunch at the Chip Truck on Cannifton Road. I got an order of fries. When I got home to eat them they were all bits and pieces, not a single whole fry in the bunch. Terrible! So today I thought to try again and guess what, the exact same thing. The ends of fries and not a whole fry in the box. I guess it's time to try a different chip truck. The one on Maitland is suppose to be good. Duffers I tried twice and was given the same thing. Not worth my money.

Great food truck with amazing food. The food was very filling, packed with flavours and priced well!

We ordered the “Banquet Burger Poutine” and “Hot Dog”. The poutine was fulled with lots of meat, gravy and curds and seasoned well. The hot dog was juicy and cooked throughout.

The costumer service was great and food was made quickly.

Had the fiesta supreme poutine, they didn’t add any gravy/toppings half way through, so lots of dry fries. toppings were minimal and I paid 21$ and change for a regular or a large, (sizes were not specified) a dollar fee for debit was included in the price at poutine fest…. If I could rename this poutine I’d call it the shitesta ungood poo minus the tine. 2/10 stars

I really wanted to skip the fast food chains and support local, so I found this place on google maps and stopped here for dinner on my way home.

Never again.

I ordered a sausage on a bun, which came to $11.75 with a can of ginger ale. That should have been my first red flag and when I walked away instead. Insane prices.

The sausage was so tiny it hardly filled the small wonderbread bun. There was at least 2 full inches of bread without sausage. For almost 12 bucks you would think they could serve the longer sausages that at least fill a bun. They were serving the small smokies you can buy in 10 packs for like 12 bucks at the grocery store. Not the longer sausages you would normally get at a street cart or chip wagon.

They deep fried the sausage to reheat, rather than on the grill.

And then I noticed that the gentleman counted my money then went straight to making the food, WITHOUT washing his hands.

Then he plopped the sausage and bun down directly on the dirty counter with a too small napkin underneath, so the food was in direct contact with a surface where people put their money on or hands.

I was baffled, but didn’t want to make a scene I just took it, threw the bun away and ate the tiny sausage. Had to grab food again on the way home since I was still hungry.

Disgusting, avoid this place if you can. It is WAY too expensive and they don’t make up for it with good product or service.

During the summer we love to travel and try different food trucks and small diners. This one was an extremely expensive chip truck! Plus, they charge $1 to use debit, and $2.50 to use credit. I’ve not encountered this anywhere else. At most 50 cents to use either. The one woman provided friendly service, the older woman was very rude. Gravy was cold so the cheese on my poutine didn’t melt and it wasn’t appealing. The gravy had decent flavour. Hot dog was pretty good. But honestly would not go back to this food truck. Not even close to worth the price.

We were very thankful that you were open in Tweed on a late October day! We were travelling home to sw Ontario and were in need of lunch. Good service, nice view while we ate. Fries were tasty (perfect chip truck taste) but lots of little pieces. Hamburger was good too.A bonus was the municipal washrooms we’re still open! Thanks much!
