Just ordered for the first time for take out and I don’t know if we will be back.
We ordered the fish and chips, ducking burger and kids cheese burger.
The French fries were good. But unfortunately that’s where the positive review ends.
The fish was mushy and flavorless. The ‘duck’ on the burger was definitely ham. Did not have the texture or fat rendering of duck. The sweet potato fries that came with the ducking burger were undercooked and the kids cheeseburger was a bit burnt with no condiments.
Really disappointed as we were looking forward to supporting local and not going to McDonalds.

STOP!!!! For gas, diesel, air, junk snacks, and incredible meals! I usually have a 2 tier rating system. One for big city restaurants and one for small towns. Madoc is a small town. Finn's is being rated as a big city restaurant. It sits connected to a gas station. Usually, this setup is meh! For food. FINN'S is awesome! If I could give 7 stars for the food, I would. The setting is a regular gas bar restaurant. Service is pleasant, accurate, and reliable. The young man and woman in the kitchen though...working hard, calmly, in a smaller space pumping out regular dishes with Flair!! The tastes feel like a big city expensive diner, but in Madoc. I really hope the locals patronage Finn's. Otherwise, they are missing out. I highly recommend you eat here!!

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating my Papa’s birthday at Finn’s Pub, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful experience we had! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
Finn’s Pub is truly a gem when it comes to delicious food. The menu is packed with a variety of mouthwatering options that cater to all tastes. Whether you’re craving hearty burgers, fresh salads, or their famous wings, every dish is crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, and it certainly made our celebration even more special.
The staff at Finn’s Pub deserves a special mention as well. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for our party. Their commitment to excellent service made our experience even more enjoyable, allowing us to focus on celebrating my Papa’s special day.

Arrived and was greeted with a dirty table, had our drink orders taken and then sat for about 25 minutes while 3 tables filled up with people. Another 20 minutes goes by and our waitress finally comes over to us stating “you guys have menus still makes me think I didn’t take your order” to which I reply “you didn’t”. She leaves, taking our menus, comes back and then takes our food order. Another 20 minutes goes by and the 3 tables that came in after us which had 3-4 people each. (We were a table of 2) had been served all of their food, items in which were the items we ordered and should have been prioritized to us as we had now been waiting for 45 minutes for food. At that point I had decided that we had waited long enough that we would just pay for our drinks and leave. We have never experienced worse service and won’t be back. Unacceptable service and a massive waste of time.

Service was great, the wait staff was very pleasant. We had the wings, fantastic! They are very tasty and the portions are quite large. We also tried the Montreal meat sandwich and chili. The sandwich was very nice, the meat nice and tender. The chili was not the greatest. A bit too sour, maybe too much vinegar. But overall, nice place to stop by.

I went in with my son who is a toddler and because they had a toddler behind the bar my son wanted to go behind the bar also. Very unprofessional. I went back in hopes that I'd be greeted by Jo, my son fell absolutely in love with her last time. Then I find out she unfortunately no longer works there.. so are we letting go of good staff and hiring the children..
Loved the cheeseburger poutine and big momma drink. Excellent recommendations from our server. I'm very fussy and enjoyed my food 😋

Atmosphere: Renovations from the previous Cafe Reeeally opened the space up visually and are a great improvement for Stirling just in time for the downtown street renovation coming to a close.

Place was packed for brunch. Team worked hard to deliver all the meals with great quality ? Looking forward to going back. We ordered two big breakfasts and it was worth every dollar.
