I stopped by in the afternoon and had a very pleasant experience overall. The food was genuinely good—fresh, well prepared, and nicely presented. Everything tasted exactly as it should, and it’s clear that care goes into the kitchen.
The service really stood out. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. She checked in at the right times, made sure everything was okay, and created a comfortable, relaxed dining experience. Service like that always makes a difference and adds a lot to the visit.
During the afternoon hours, the place was fairly empty, so the atmosphere was calm and quiet. While there wasn’t much of a lively or energetic vibe at that time of day, it was actually nice if you’re looking for a peaceful meal without noise or crowds. It felt easygoing and unhurried, which can be a plus depending on what you’re in the mood for.
Overall, this is a solid spot with good food and excellent service. I’d happily come back again, especially knowing the staff is welcoming and the quality of the food is consistent.

What a great restaurant!
Everytime we enter, we are greeted with a friendly smile, and hello. The food is always good, and very affordable. Nero is almost always our server, and I can’t say enough good things. That guy works hard!

Pretty disappointed in this place. First time here and had high Hope's when we first walked in. Could smell a curry and the food on one of the other tables looked pretty good.
Figure I would order the butter chicken burrito since the curry smelt so good. Well it didn't taste or look like any butter chicken I've ever seen. Pail pink in color and no flavor. They also missed putting in all the ingredients. Beans were absent. It was basically bland chicken and rice. My friend ordered the French onion soup that must have been from a dry powder kit that they dumped extra salt into in an attempt to make it their own. Had to send it back as it wasn't even edible. What a waste of a meal. :(

My friends and I had the opportunity to step in for a drink and a snack a couple of weeks ago. Dawna the bartender was so friendly and accommodating. Had the best onion rings of my life. I’d highly recommend Mc Grady’s if you are in or near Uxbridge.

I came on a Wednesday, when they have open mic in the evenings. I loved the vibe. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

I had the lentil soup, which was so tasty! I took one home to go.

Great food and staff

The $13 chicken fajita lunch special drew me in and I'm glad--lunch was quick to arrive, hot, tender, and fresh. The server was attentive, the cook warned me about the hot pan, and the classic rock tunes were not too loud. Not busy, it was bright and clean. I read my book and enjoyed my meal in the same amount of time and for about the same price as a fast food restaurant. The patio looks nice, too!
