I finally visited Little Thief Bakery and as expected, most of the pastries were already sold out — no surprise since this place always has a long line the moment they open! Luckily, I still managed to get two desserts: the Sour Cherry Danish and the Carrot Basque Cheesecake — so happy I didn’t leave empty-handed!

Both desserts were absolutely delicious — beautifully balanced in sweetness, light yet flavorful, and made with real, honest ingredients. Even someone like me who doesn’t usually enjoy desserts completely fell in love with them. The textures were spot on — crisp and flaky for the Danish, smooth and creamy for the cheesecake. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite.

The staff were also incredibly warm and welcoming. They patiently introduced each pastry and gave great recommendations with genuine enthusiasm. Their friendly attitude made the whole visit even more special.

A cozy little bakery with amazing desserts and even better people — can’t wait to come back earlier next time! 🍰🍞🥖

I finally decided to make the drive out here to try this! I arrived at noon on a Sunday and the selection was already looking a little slim. I guess that's how good it is!

We grabbed the peanut butter cookie, the brookie, a fritter, and a churro donut. All of them were phenomenal.

The peanut butter cookie was classic. Nothing spectacular, but it was more than decent. The brookie was amazingly gooey inside and had a rich and deep cocoa flavor. The fritter was my favorite. It was perfectly moist and dense without being overly heavy or sweet. The churro donut was light and airy, and had a classic churro flavor.

Staff were so friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more!

If the line ups outside, before the bakery opens, don't tell even a casual viewer that something special, and worth lining up for was inside...
Rolling Stones tour tickets?

Nope. Better:
Great house-made doughnuts and cookies. Great bread! Very clean inside.
Lunch delicacies, super staff!

APPLE FRITTER!!

So great to visit a business who take their craft so seriously.

$$, but absolutely artisanal, and made with love, and consistency.

Arrive too late in the day, and stuff may be sold out, so plan and act accordingly.

We came late so pickings were slim so come early, it’s either sold or by close, which ever comes first. We did get two chocolate brownie cookies which had a nice crunch outside, soft and slightly chewy inside, not overly sweet and just the right amount of chocolate. Staff were friendly, bakery was clean and bright.

Always friendly staff with a line of creative and flavourful pastries! It's always a pleasure to support local bakeries, and Little Thief is definitely one to make an effort to go to. While they're only open certain days of the week, they're hard at work early in the morning when some people are just going to bed and the quality of their baked goods showcases their effort. Definitely get here early in the morning, they're often sold out of their biggest sellers like apple fritters by noon. A must stop whenever passing through Uxbridge!

This bakery was the highlight of our roadtrip! The food was delicious and the owner was super kind and friendly. The hand embroidered pins she made were the perfect roadtrip souvenir! We even paid a second visit later in the afternoon to pickup treats for the ride home. 10/10 recommend.

Everything we have tried is delicious. But their Paris-Brest is on a whole other level. It is sublime. As good as any pastry we have eaten in France. And better than some!

This is my favourite place to support as it hits my sweet tooth! The donuts are incredible and large making them more than worth every penny spent. Congratulations on creating an amazing business model. I am happy to line up with intention if I don’t want to be disappointed! The staff are super friendly also - I look forward to seeing the creativity and tasting the flavours of every masterpiece! Yum! See you next weekend
