On January 12, 2026. I decided to go to breakfast and I remembered how good Wimpy's breakfast was years ago. I should have just left it with a good memory because the food that I had on this visit was not very good at all. I ordered the avocado toast and I asked for peameal instead of the regular bacon strips that come with it. When my food arrived, the peameal bacon was on top of the bread instead of on the side of my plate. The avocado looked more like a pea soup than actual avocado. It was so watery and mushy that it was dripping off the bread. I'd asked for my eggs to be poached medium. They did come poached medium, but I'm pretty sure that they were scooped out of a pot of water and dumped on the bread with all of the liquid on it because my bread was completely soggy, and it was more sponge than anything else. I ate the peameal bacon and I scooped off the eggs and ate those. I didn't eat the bread or the pea soup avocado. If I thought I would've had enough time to tell them that this meal was horrible and wait for them to make a new one then I would have but sadly I didn't. I ate what I could and left to go to work. I usually just get fries and gravy to go for lunch from here and I think I will stick to that. I do not recommend avocado toast at this location.

When we sat down for lunch recently, we waited at least five minutes for the server to come over (nobody else was there) and give us menus because she was engrossed in a conversation with several other women at another table. She knew we had come in, but there was no acknowledgement and she ignored us. I was getting up to go and ask for three menus, and she finally came over. Service was average at best. My main point, though, is the PRICE of almost all of the items. They have leaped up since the last time we were there. A burger is not worth $20. Won't be back; B&L is just a block away. Disappointing!

Absolutely will not be going back after many visits. I have been to Wimpys all over Ontario and this is by far the worst I have been to. The coleslaw that was served with my meal was rancid and had bugs in it. When I brought it to the attention of the server, she casually said that she would let the kitchen know! What? No feedback. Nothing. I usually tip well but only gave her 10%. I wish I had not given her anything. There are much better options in Uxbridge than this dump. 🤢

This has become a regular placee for us. They have a veggie burger for lunch/dinner and for brekkie we get toast and home fries with fried onions, and sometimes add fruit. Coffee is good. Service is friendly. Pricing is reasonable. I wish they had more vegan options but at least we can make do with two.
Just had the worst service ever. I don't know what was going on, it really grates me that local restaurants want you to support them but the experience falls far short of being "tippable" service.
The fries were the best I have had in a long time.

Ordered dinner February 14, 2025. When received opened to find two of the hamburgers were barely cooked. Never had an issue here ever, been customer here since they opened. Not sure what is happening here. Service, food, and atmosphere have been 5+ stars. Will need to watch or order elsewhere. Very disappointed. Credit offered sucked.
