A little restaurant in town that offers homecook (style) meals. I ordered Italian Poutine, my husband had eggs bene, and my niece had chicken fingers. It's super delicious and the staff are attentive. The place is clean with a lot of parking spaces. I highly recommend this place. ??

My son and I went here on es a few years ago for a breakfast date around Christmas. I had noticed that they had an angel tree with many many kids still on it. Because I was a child that was in foster care I have always felt an obligation to do angel tree every single year! Sometimes we will do it for several children because we have a tendency to over buy for the kids so they’re able to share the gifts across a few!!:) my son got up and investigated the ages on the kids left and it made him sad because they were mostly older kids. He wanted to do a boy and a girl so I told him okay I’ll go up and get the two oldest kids and we will get them the best stuff!!:) after I did this I was rudely verbally approached from across the restaurant by the older female owner. She said with a sign largely printed behind the tree stating the gifts had to be back by X date- “those aren’t to take for decoration, EH.” I replied I knew what they were but thank you ? she then decided to get into a verbal altercation with me about how I shouldn’t take two because then that will be two children not getting presents for Christmas. I told her that I didn’t need her to get upset with us over trying to make a kids day better? After she made me cry and shout at her we took our food and left. Not even a week later we returned with an oversized over filled bag of toys to be given nothing but a hurtful stare and a judgmental huff. If you don’t live here these places are okay but everyone is talking about you as you eat, everyone is judging you. This town had lots of derives to help families if you’re willing to be misspoken about on porches or over Facebook threads. And unfortunately the businesses are not a single bit different. It’s just must more hurtful when it’s live in front of your face and not over a screen.
Enjoyed our lunch here; excellent lunch specials with a soup (or fries), Philly steak sandwich, soft drink and an amazing dessert (we loved both chocolate cake and tiramisu mousse)! Excellent homemade chicken noodle soup! Super friendly and helpful staff. They also serve all day breakfast from 7am.
