ArooWha delivery service is very good, and the California rolls are good. I also love the salmon sashimi.

So i had Sushi in so many places in North America....., and i have never, but NEVER got that amount of fish in one roll of sushi. Yes they are bit on the high side. At average of $7 per roll. But let me tell you. It was absolutely worth every penny and more!Don't believe me? Look at the picture.I took Salmon roll, Tuna roll, California roll.

Great family owned sushi restaurant. The rolls are fresh and big with a good ratio of filling to rice. The fish is fresh and has a great selection of dinner combinations to choose from. We ordered a maki combo but will definitely try the nigiri sushi next time. Would definitely eat here again, go early as it can get busy!

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Toronto and an amazing place to experience the highest quality Japanese food. The chefs here are very skilled and serve the freshest fish. It's worth coming even from far away. ToGo is also available and the staff members are friendly. I highly recommend it, especially the roll variety.

So good and fresh. One of the best in Vaughan. Order at least an hour in advance to avoid long wait times.

The overall experience was alright, first time trying with a friend. The food wasnt anything spectacular as the rice was mushy in the sushi. The donburi with sashimi had lots salad under, something I was not expecting. The price point was a bit high for what it is.

My coworkers and I came here as a big group today to celebrate a milestone at lunch. With almost 20 of us, the staff at ArooWha were wonderful and well prepared. Everyone was very happy with their meals and the service was great :)!

I'm going to preface this review by saying: if I could give fractions for the star rating, I would; as I feel this place doesn't quite deserve a 4/5 but 3/5 would also be too harsh. My family and I came here around 5:30 pm on a Tuesday night. It wasn't the best impression that we walked into an empty restaurant but was comforted by the fact that the place started filling up a little about 15-20 mins later with a couple tables and a fair number of takeout orders. It also seems like this spot is owned by Japanese people. We got offered a booth seat which was very spacious and could fit a table of 6 (we were a table of 4) but there are also regular tables and chairs if you prefer. Overall, the place is decently clean but nothing to ride home about. We were greeted upon entering, seated, then offered more table sets (there were only two to start), menus, and tea (the first cup was not hot enough and overall, not very flavorful). Now reading some reviews, I see a lot of complaints about the service but I have to say, our server was great. I saw his little tag say "trainee" on it but you wouldn't really be able to tell - he was friendly, always kept a smile, and polite. The menu prices listed in the overview of Google are quite off and clearly have not been updated in recent years... Especially with the current inflation rates. So we were a little surprised to see the current prices (and I've scanned them all so I'll be posting them with this review so you can have a peek for reference). Now, for our family of 4, we ordered the MS-1 Maki Platter A for $50 and the Tempura dinner for $25. On the menu, it didn't clarify how many pieces were included in the MS-1 Maki Platter A and when asked, the server also didn't know the answer. So I counted - 35. It includes salmon dragon roll, dynamite roll, california roll, SP salmon roll and shrimp tempura roll. The maki rolls are huge but not in the best way. They often were hard to eat and fell apart, but at least you can say you're getting more bang for your buck? I didn't prefer this though as it was messy and inauthentic. I do appreciate that the ratio of fish to rice was good though. By now, most of you that have been following my reviews know that spicy salmon rolls are my favorite and unfortunately, this one did not make the cut. I was excited at first as it seemed like the sauce was mixed in with the fish and tempura bits which are my preference but these were not spicy at all. My table was also not a huge fan of the dark "teriyaki-like" sauce that they had drizzled all over most of the rolls as it was overly salty and sweet. As for the tempura dinner, it included 5 pcs shrimp tempura and 7 pcs vegetable tempura with rice. The batter could have been more dry and crispy but wasn't bad. My main disappointment was the size of the shrimp. Otherwise, it tasted quite good and so did the dipping sauce. In conclusion, this wouldn't be a frequent spot for me... I'm not even 100% sure I'd return as there is better out there for her same price point. Update: ended up lowering my review to 3/5 stars because our whole family had funny stomachs for the rest of the night.

I've been to Aroowha many times and really enjoyed sushi there until the visit last Saturday. I got food poisoning at dinner and spent the night hugging the toilet. My husband also had stomach issues (we shared the sushi boat) but not as bad as myself.

Used to be good now the quality is not the same, prices are high and service is poor. We ordered a dragon roll and there was a microscopic shrimp in it. Mostly just batter.Tuna use to be much better.
