This spot provides wonderful service as well as yummy meals. My favourite restaurant in the area. The food served quickly and the prices are fair. Recommended.

The name now is Cafe Al Volo. It's an ok restaurant, menu could have been better. My partner Salmon pasta is not really good, we see flakes of salmon and thats it. We assume that it eill be serve with a slice of salmon meat but not. i have the shrimp fettuccine which taste good. Staff is friendly. But I am not sure if we will go back.

A few days ago my friend and I visited this restaurant. I have been here at least four or five times. The establishment has a great lunch ambience and a nice natural view in the back. Service was excellent and quick. I had the foccacina and house salad. My friend at the vegetarian wrap which she said was delicious. This place is good value for the money and will be returning soon. The cappuccinos are out of this world.

We love this place! Just what Kleinburg needed! Small, cute and delicious foods. Great for dining in or take out! Take the time to try this place for breakfast or lunch! You won't be disappointed!

My MIL and I chose the Avlyn Gardens today for a light lunch after a trip to the McMichael Gallery. We usually go to the Doctors House but wanted something less “white linen” and a bit more casual as we had both been snapped at by two rather testy McMichael employees. We made the right choice by going to Avlyn Gardens. The food was delicious, the service was attentive but relaxed & friendly, the prices are very reasonable, the apple cake was out of this world and the cappuccino was superlative. Best I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely go back when we’re in the area.

We recently married and chose to have a very private, intimate wedding. We had the ceremony and dinner reception at Avlyn Gardens. We couldn't have been happier. The restaurant had such a beautiful ambience and was professionally decorated by our event planner. The food was fantastic and we have received so many compliments. All the staff were so friendly and professional. Special thanks to Marco the Head Chef & Milena the manager for helping making our day so perfect. Would definitely highly recommend for your function.

Food was very good! The atmosphere was amazing too. The gnocchi was very well cooked and tasted AMAZING! My only complaint is that some of the portions can be a bit small, but I’ll definitely be coming back.

Went to this lovely little ristorante for lunch with family. The food was great but it was the cappuchinos' that i loved the most. Sat in the back of the restaurant where it is very bright and cozy. My only complaint was the service was very slow. Took forever to be served. I will go back again when i am in that area.

Living in TO and going out to eat a lot, I can truly state that I have never experienced such incompetent, ignorant and lazy service. Plan was to go to our regular pub for lunch before seeing the Maud Lewis exhibit. The pub was closed for renos.. so crossed the street to the Avlyn. Entering there is a barista type small coffee shop in front a short corridor opened into a rather nice dining area. Big windows lots of light. About 20 tables only a few were occupied. Sat ourselves and eventually the waitress came. We had some questions about the menu which was not intuitive. The waitress was very helpful and said yes the Pollo salad would be enough for a meal. We ordered and asked for tea for three with milk. The milk seemed to cause a pause?? Finally tea arrived huge cups and tea pots. Twice asked for the milk eventually got up to get it which was sitting in a tiny jug on the counter. Waitress insisted on bringing it when I could have managed. The milk was steamed... not the greatest for tea. In the meantime people were coming in and the dining room was about half full. Then we started to notice folks who came in after us were getting their meals and we were not even getting water refills. After half an hour wait we asked the waitress where was our food... she seemed perplexed, asked if we had ordered?? Like really!! She said she would check the kitchen... came back and said kitchen did not have our order. All the time a plastic grin on her face... Talk about adding insult to injury. I suggested the tea was on the house and we packed up and left. Went to a lovely little place across the street the Cookie Crumble where we were treated respectfully, served by friendly attentive staff....and not like we were invisible. And the food was yummy and half the price. I have never seen staff so unaware of what was going on in their own establishment. Avlyn total FAIL.

Stopped for lunch after visiting the McMichael. The restaurant is part cafe (front) part restaurant (back). There is outdoor seating for both. We did the back. Nice light space. Menu is compact - some primi, salads and focaccia/pizza. The focaccia is a nice mix of crispy and doughy, and the toppings weren’t overdone. A good choice for lunch.
