Everything was great —the service, atmosphere, and overall experience. If the food quality were a bit higher, it would've been perfect.

We were very disappointed with our experience. We have been many times in the past when we really enjoyed it. The food warm luke warm and the service was slow. Very few people in the restaurant so it was surprising. I indicated it was my husband's birthday and it wasn't even acknowleged.

Everything perfect, fantastic service, food done to perfection and when I couldn't finish, we got containers for everything including extra au jus for my meal

Steaks are good as usual, but they are charging more than they used to. Peppercorn sauce used to be free, now they're charging $2 for it. Overall great place though, service staff are all good and are typically "easy on the eyes".

I would have given it 5 stars, except the french fries had too much pepper or bbq spice for my tastes. The server was excellent, as was the bavet.

We have been to this location many times in the past and received excellent service and had a great meal. However, this past time couldn't have been worse. 1. Every plate when it was delivered has something wrong or missing. 2. It tooked 15 minutes plus to resolve the missing/wrong issues (it wasn't timed but by the time the correct items were received the main course was finished!) 3. Although we talked to the manager on shift the resolution was inadequate for the poor service and poor results as it came to our dishes. Normally we would have talked to the manager again but at this point we just wanted to get out. 4. Even getting water was a challenge as we ordered soup and finished those before the water was brought to our table then wasn't refilled until just before we were about to leave. We may revisit but it will be a VERY long time before we do.

Excellent waiter! Food wasnt as good! Mash was cold and the mushroom sauce it felt like soup. The pretzel was great! Caesar salad was good! The fries my kids had was great! Meat was ok. In general was a good experience. I just feel quality of food has gone down

Two of us eat at BR on a regular basis. On Marcy 9, 2025, we both had the Potato Soup and Ribs. The soup was thick, more like pudding. The ribs were burnt and dry. Sent them back. The replacements were only marginally better. Very disappointed. Will not likely return.

3 meals ordered. One new york steak was requested to be medium and it came rare. Second New York was requested to be medium rare and it came rare. Both steaks were cold. Only the third steak came medium rare as requested. 2 of the three side ordered came out cold. Service took forever between asking for water, ordering multiple glasses of wine and dessert. We didn't ask for steaks to be cooked further as we were super hungry and in a rush. Mentioned the steaks to the waitress and she comped dessert which was kind of her. When we're paying roughly $50 per steak, both the steak and side dishes come improperly cooked and cold, I feel absolutely taken advantage of. Only reason I didn't take this up with a manager is because I was with my mother and didn't want to ruin her night. It's the first time she went out and tried to have a good time in a long time. Thanks Baton Rouge, for taken advantage of regular people, trying to enjoy a Saturday night family meal.

I had the gnocchi and it was fabulous! My sister had chicken club! With raspberry cheesecake for dessert, it was a fabulous dinner! Generous portions, we have leftovers! Service was exceptional.

I am disappointed with the manager he openly disrespected his employees in front of customers, I came with my husband and the way he spoke to the host was unacceptable. There is a better way to approach your staff do not belittle them. Do better. No person should be speaking to young girls like that. Baton Rouge do proper training with your managers and train them on how to contain proper ethics.

I recently visited Baton Rouge and had the steak and fries. Overall, it was a solid experience. The steak was cooked well, tender, and flavorful, though I would have liked a bit more seasoning. The fries were alright making a great side dish. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, adding to the overall enjoyable meal. While it wasn’t the best steak I’ve ever had, it was still a satisfying meal!

Consistently good food and perfectly cooked steak. Leave some space for dessert - recommend their cinnamon bun.

Parking can be a little difficult during peak dining hours.
