Their variety of drinks are amazing.

I've had the Bambu Halo Halo, Taro Lover, and Fruit Addict.

I look forward to trying many more of the options that they have available.

The drinks from the Bambū side are a bit on the pricier side, but they're packed with flavor. We went for two large drinks, and one was practically a dessert in itself. The Mangonada was refreshing, tangy, and had a bit of heat, while the tamarind candy straw added a chewy surprise between sips. The Halo Halo was topped with creamy ube ice cream, which melted nicely into the drink as you mixed it in. It was a little tricky to mix at first since it was filled to the brim, but the combination of textures, sweetness, and nuttiness was fantastic without ever feeling overwhelming.

Having the option to enjoy Bambū's unique drinks makes this location stand out. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and didn't leave a single crumb behind!

How hard is it to update your schedule that you’re not working today. And the sign - OPEN need to be turned off probably to not to full your customers.

Love their chè. Originally tried Bambu in Virginia. I was shocked to see it was in the GTA as well.

Contigo Mexican Fast Food inside Bambu
Exceptional service from start to finish.

Food — where do I even begin? The variety, the flavours, everything is just amazing. Every bite feels fresh and thoughtfully made. And if you’re in the mood for something fun, you can even grab a boba to go with your meal!

✨ Pro tip: Ask for the guac — you won’t regret it.

Even better, knowing that all funds go to the Happy Tummies Foundation makes the experience that much more meaningful. Great food, great service, and a great cause. Highly recommend! 🌮💛

The Vietnamese iced coffee here is one of the best I've had anywhere. The coffee jellies in the drink are crazy good. I Always stop here whenever I'm in town

I ordered a surprise bag from the “too good to go” app. That’s my way of trying new places. We got three different drinks, and to be honest one went straight to the sink, the other two weren’t good, and pretty much tasted the same.
The jello stuff at the bottom does not go through the straw, and keeps clogging it, making the experience of drinking it frustrating. We’ve had bubble teas and similar drinks in the past, and I don’t remember it being an issue.
The wait was longer than expected, and I got an eye roll when I said I was picking up a “too good to go” order. Now I understand that these are supposed to be leftovers, and I paid very little for it, but that’s a shop I’m not going into again.

The flavor was good, and given the oversized cup, the price makes sense—but the portion is so big that after a couple of bites I was done and the rest went to waste. The store should consider offering smaller size options for people who just want a light dessert after a meal. I definitely won’t return—not because of the taste, but because the price and portion size are more than I can finish.

I went to here on September 24 at 8:56 pm. The staff told me the store was already closed at 9:00 pm. But according to Google, the closing time is 10:00 pm. The staff said the two stores are separate, but even if the closing time is 9:00 pm, shouldn’t I still be able to make a purchase when I arrived at 8:56? I felt very angry, and the service was terrible.

I’ve been a long time fan of Bambu and loved their drinks. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore. I ended up going to their store today without realizing that they rented their kitchen to another business and it was their opening day. The place smelled of smoke and cigarettes. There was no space for Bambu customers to sit. I had ordered two drinks and the Pandan Jelly had an unpleasant taste to it, as if it had been infused with the smell of cigarettes and smoke. It tasted really bad. And the jelly was hard in the centre like it was old or not cooked well. It was odd to see beer being poured into red plastic beer cups right next to where my drink was being prepared. Probably won’t be returning again in the future and will get my Vietnamese drinks elsewhere. What a shame.

Disappointing Experience at Bambu Desert

I recently dined at Bambu Desert and was left thoroughly unimpressed. For the prices they charge, I expected a lot more in terms of both quantity and quality. I ordered the Awesome Trio Dessert, which, despite its enticing name, was a letdown. The portions were surprisingly small, making it hard to justify the hefty bill at the end of the meal.

Additionally, the dish had way too many water, less beans, which felt out of place and unappetizing. To top it off, the Panda Jelly was mushy and lacked the texture and flavor one would expect from a well-made dessert. Everything felt rushed and not well-prepared, which was disappointing given the hype surrounding this place.

It's frustrating to pay a premium for such a lackluster experience. I definitely won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend Bambu Desert to anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience. Save your money and seek out better options!
