Recently visited Daal Roti for the very first time to check out the lunch buffet on the weekend. It’s a cool little spot with friendly staff and being right by Vaughan Mills is a bonus as that’s the perfect place to walk around after your meal. I tried the veg thali, and the vegetables were great. However, I wasn’t a fan of the tandoori roti. Tawa roti would have been a better choice, and it would have been nice to get two instead of one, as most Indian restaurants offer two tawa rotis or one naan with the veg thali. Overall, the taste and portion size were good, and I appreciated the excellent customer service from Amisha.
