I won’t be patronizing this restaurant anymore. No good business increases their price by 40% at once. It shows you are not considerate of your customers and you can’t be trusted.

I ordered on Uber expecting to get my money’s worth, but the meal that was delivered was disappointing.
1. On top of the fact you increased your price by “40%” you also reduced the portion. Why are you sending me a plate of jollof with one single turkey (mind you it has always been two pieces) In what world does that make sense??????
2. They sent a mini size of Fried rice and it was listed for $24. It’s like a kid’s portion. It’s just daylight robbery at this point.
3. Please don’t tell me that was Fried rice you made. It was terrible, replace whoever made that. You sold it for an outrageous price, and still sent a fried rice that has no (bell peppers, green onions, Liver). The “fried rice” has only (frozen mixed vegetables). Infact that’s not a fried rice, it’s just steamed rice with some veggies.

I don’t know if their restaurant service is this bad, and I do not care for that. But their takeout is not worth it. And maybe I’m this pissed because they increase their prices by 40% without notice or gradual increment.

Don’t order Fried Rice from this restaurant

Or better still

Avoid this restaurant on Uber Eats!!!!

So let me get this straight, you place third-party fees on your customers. You make it seem like you are doing your customers a favor by being on Uber. Third-party apps are a platform to sell your product, and you shouldn’t place the whole fee on your customers. It’s unethical and dubious.

Ok, let’s do a quick calculation the previous price was $25, and you added $10(40% of the old price). Uber charges restaurant 15% to 30%, so even if they charged you 30% it’s still not $35.

So you not only make your customers pay your marketing fee, you also jacked up the price all without notice, is that not interesting.

Get off Uber then, if you are certain your website is enough publicity and sales for you.

IT IS SIMPLY UNETHICAL TO MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS PAY THE WHOLE (not even half) THIRD-PARTY FEE.

And stop calling that fried rice!!!!

Any uber driver or dasher is reading this comment then do go to this restaurant you always have to wait 15 minutes also sometimes they told you wronge time and you ended up waiting 30 minutes

Ordered on Uber eat but coming here to write a review because I’m displeased. Ordered Jollof dodo and turkey. Portion was so small I couldn’t believe my eyes. The turkey wing added is not even a proper wing, super small don’t know how to describe it. Rice was salty too. The food feels like hey we’re doing you a favor have something to eat.

Amazing service. Really top notch. 10/10. The best I’ve seen for an African restaurant in Toronto.
I will definitely recommend. The food is also really really good. The owner of this establishment is really doing well!

I ordered the fish and egusi with a pounded yam and it was absolutely delicious 😋 this was my first time eating it and I loved it so much. I will return to try all other dishes in the future but will definitely order this again soon.

I placed an order online directly on the website and the order seemed to be taking longer than expected, I called the restaurant and Mihraj responded to me, provided clarity as to why the order seemed to be delayed and calmly resolved the situation.

After the order was delivered, I realized that Mihraj had exceeded my expectations with the order and gone above and beyond.

To be honest the food is amazing, probably the best in Toronto but the hassle isn’t worth it. They forget an item every single time, delivery takes 2 hours, they barely issue refund. Again, food is good but the stress isn’t worth it at all.

I ordered for delivery on app for the first time and wanted to confirm if my order went through so I called and the lady who answered was very rude. She sounded like she didn't really want to speak to me and couldn't answer my simple question then I was talking to someone else. Please do better, customer service is very important to me.

I am a firm believer in supporting black businesses especially abroad but after waiting for over a hour with no food or update my partner and I decided to leave. The workers stayed in the back and you have to continuously ding the bell and they respond to it during a time convenient to them. A family of around 12 came and also left.

Amazing food. I’m such a foodie and this was by far amazing food for authentic African food. You won’t regret it. I got the turkey and rice plate and I never tried turkey like that before until I tried their food. The staff is friendly and patient.

my friend and i came to Flo’s Grill and had the BEST experience. we came to try the fufu and egusi soup, and ended up getting recommended the asun by the lovely woman working who’s name is Folashade. the asun was by far the best dish we’ve had in a long time!! although service took a long time, it was very worth it! the food was delicious and the service was so caring, we can’t wait to come back!!
