Delicious food, but terrible service. We were regulars (emphasis on were), but after this terrible experience, we will not be returning. I had made reservations via phone call for the weekend, and then after we hung up the phone, my plans changed due to a family emergency, and I immediately called back to cancel my reservations. My phone call was rejected and sent to voicemail, so I called another 3 times to be thorough. On the last try, I left a very clear voicemail stating I wanted to cancel my reservation, and to call back if there was any confusion. Come the day of my now cancelled reservation, I receive a phone call from an unmarked number. To my surprise, it was the owner of the restaurant, Gianni himself, calling me and telling me where to go. Although he is usually a sweet old man, he was screaming, swearing, and speaking completely inappropriate to me as a customer and a woman of colour. Never has a business called me in anger for missing a reservation, one that I had professionally cancelled, by 20 minutes. Rest assured, I will not be tolerating this abusive treatment, especially during these times where we as a society should know better.
