We were regulars (emphasis on were), but after this terrible experience, we will not be returning.I had made reservations via phone call for the weekend, and then after we hung up the phone, my plans changed due to a family emergency, and I immediately called back to cancel my reservations.My phone call was rejected and sent to voicemail, so I called another 3 times to be thorough. On the last try, I left a very clear voicemail stating I wanted to cancel my reservation, and to call back if there was any confusion.Come the day of my now cancelled reservation, I receive a phone call from an unmarked number. To my surprise, it was the owner of the restaurant, Gianni himself, calling me and telling me where to go. Although he seems like a sweet old man, he was racist, screaming, swearing, and speaking completely inappropriate to me as a customer and a woman of colour.Never has a business called me in anger for missing a reservation, one that I had professionally cancelled, by 20 minutes.Rest assured, I will not be tolerating this abusive treatment, especially during these times where we as a society should know better.

Did not eat at the restaurant so my review is not based on the food. I parked at the store beside and the owner of Gianni’s came out and very rudely told us to park elsewhere. Started yelling and using profane language and I had my children with me. Completely unnecessary, especially given that I did not park in front of the restaurant nor do I believe that putting a piece of paper on your store window gives you the right to restrict parking. He ended up telling me he was going to f——ing tow my car. Never going to this place and will be contacting someone to see if this restaurant has a right to do this.

Horrible food and service!!Had to wait for water for a long time and service person was very argumentative upon questions or to ask anything about the menu. Don’t waste ur money here!!Parking: Awful parking and the old guy won’t let u park there even though u r their customer!!

Family hosted my surprise birthday party at Gianni’s with much success as the guests all enjoyed a delicious dinner, great service in a good location and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Thank you, Gianni’s!

This place is truly amazing, the owner was soo nice and explained all the dishes and recommended based on what we were looking for. We went with a party of 6 and ordered the family meal, the calamari, meat platter, veggies, and pasta was really delicious. The portion sizes were a lot and the prices were really fair, will definitely be going back!
