I had a wonderful time here. Rad was our server and he was very welcoming and sweet. The prices were very reasonable and our food tasted great and was served right on time. The atmosphere reminded me of local cafes in the Middle East, which was very nostalgic. I’ll definitely go back to this place.

Stumbled upon this place by chance, Mazaj offers value for money in terms of the food and the shisha. The paan flavored shisha was bang for the buck, great flavor. The Hummus with meat is a must try with the fresh bread!! It's delicious. Definitely visiting again and highly recommend.

First of all, this review is for the owner. It’s advice from a business person to a businessman. I was planning to go tonight to Mazaj Shisha Lounge, but after my past experiences, I feel compelled to share how disappointed I am. I’ve been to Mazaj twice now, and both times were equally frustrating. Despite calling ahead, I found out that they don’t have any reservation system in place, and this time was no different. I called the manager, Haider, to ensure everything would go smoothly since I was traveling from Oakville to meet my friends halfway. There is no system for seating, and people were left waiting outside in the cold for over an hour while others sat inside for hours without any consideration for those waiting.
This kind of disorganization is unacceptable. If Mazaj wants to be taken seriously as a quality business, they need to implement a reservation system, especially if they intend to keep a loyal customer base. All over the GTA, shisha lounges have a reservation system with a time limit, and it's essential for customer satisfaction. It’s clear that Mazaj's current model is about just creating a crowd, without any regard for the comfort and experience of those who are waiting.
Additionally, I’ve experienced multiple issues with the food and shisha. The food is subpar, and the shisha flavors are disappointing. To top it off, when you order something, the waiter often brings you something entirely different. This lack of attention to detail further reflects the overall lack of professionalism.
To the owner: If you want to run a reputable business, I strongly suggest implementing a reservation system with a time limit to ensure you’re providing your customers with the experience they deserve. Without any clear policies in place, it’s no wonder people are left waiting outside in the cold while others enjoy their seats for hours. I won’t be returning, and I definitely won’t recommend Mazaj to anyone else.
