Menkatsu is a lot better than your usual food court katsu restaurants. The breading was very airy yet super crunchy, and the side salad and corn were delicious. I low-key wish they would allow for rice refill like some other katsu shops though…

Very good ramen, and katsu is also good. No chicken unfortunately, just pork.

They cant take order right. And service is horrible. Not kind and they dont give enough side dishes. I wanted spicy radish one more time and she gave me 3 pieces and they dont apologize about giving me the wrong order i jist had to take the wrong one.

The prices are cheaper than other restaurants, but… .The taste and quality of the food… It's not enough to be satisfied. The person serving customers is friendly.
You will get what you paid for. Service is good and friendly, but the quality and taste of food is same as fast foods in food court.

Mediocre food, high price, low quality service. Wish the staff was more friendly and respectful.

The quality of the food is very impressive- far better than you’d expect from a food court. The staff (Olive?)- made helpful suggestions and service was solid! Recommend!

I always enjoy their Katsu which is one of the best in the area. And I tried a miso ramen first time today and it was awful. (same opinion from my partner) The lady recommended the miso among other options. I think she should reconsider her choice for customers. (She was not friendly when asked her to recommend.) And a trivial point I disappointed was that they got me a metal spoon. Once I got it, I lowered my expectations for the ramen. I wouldn’t finish if I was not starving.

We had the Busan Pork Gukbap and Soondae Gukbap and both were meh. Positive was the generous portion of pork, soondae (Korean blood sausage), and various organ meats in the soup. The meats were good. Also, the kkadugi (cubed radish kimchi) side dish was good.

Negative was the soup base which lacked that umami flavour even with adding the shrimp and salt seasoning. Something was off about the soup.

I went today for the first time, and I enjoyed the sundae soup and rice.
Udon is not good. It didn't taste like anything, it was greasy and it wasn't the udon flavor I was expecting so my husband couldn't even touch it and we just shared the sundae soup between us :;;;;; It would be better to just stick to the main menu.

I've eaten here a handful of times. Usually, we get two soups (Soondae or Pork) and a plate of Cheese Katsu. The quality of food is fairly consistent and satisfactory. However, the only complaint would be the amount of rice that comes with Cheese Katsu. It's literally about three spoonfuls. Even the rice they give you with the soup look like somebody ate off of the bowl.

Today, I had my very last meal from this place. The cashier - a middle-aged Korean lady - greeted me in English after having me wait a while due to her meal prep. She continued to speak English to me even after I greeted her in Korean so I proceeded to let her know I'm Korean. Then she had the audacity to ask me "You are? Why do you not look Korean then?!" So I was fairly pissed off at that point.

Upon cash payment, the POS screen indicated I was to receive about 50 cents as change. The lady then tells me I should just give up the change because she's out of small coins - also added that should be her tip. I then ask her what the hell she's talking about - not because I didn't understand what she said but because I was flabbergasted. She then hands me a loonie and tells me to get change for her. At that point, I snapped and told her this is so wrong on many levels. If she explained her situation I would've been very understanding but telling a customer to relinquish their change without even making an effort to produce it from other sources is downright lazy and unprofessional.

She ended up apologizing but the experience was just so disgusting start to finish that I made up my mind to stop dining there.

I'm a regular here. Every time I come to World On Young, I order at least two bowls of food. He touches the food with the hand that touched the money, and when he says he doesn't have any change, he just says "It's okay, right?" without saying sorry. Is it right for you not to disobey me? (A few cents is okay) You own a bakery next door and business is going well; There's something on the bowl too...
Even though I ate well, I feel a little off today. I understand the position of having to be the cashier and set up the food by yourself, but it is inconvenient from the perspective of a customer at a restaurant.

The 고치돈 and 슨대국 here are the best! Whenever I go to North York, I always come here.

The pork cutlet is thinner than pickled radish and crispy like a cookie. I think it would be worth paying this money to eat Doritos from Dollarama.
