Stopped in for a cheese pizza with chili flakes at Pizza Pizza on a hot summer day, and it hit the spot. The AC inside was a nice break from the heat, and the pizza was fresh, tasty, and had just the right kick from the chili flakes. It was a bit busy, but overall a solid spot to cool off and grab a bite.

Great experience at Pizza Pizza! The service was quick and friendly, and the staff made sure everything was perfect. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained, which made the visit even better. The pizza was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend for quality, hygiene, and great service!

I entered the store to pick up and pay for my order with 2 gift cards, $50 and $15 (newly purchased within minutes of going to the store). The cashier asked me to scan my gift card and then noticed that she put the wrong order on the screen so I paid $20 something dollars for someone else’s order. Then she got help from a colleague to attempt to deduct this amount I already paid from my actual order total. I scanned my $50 again and then the $15 and she said I was done. I asked for a balance receipt which she said they do not have that but gave me my itemized receipt, and so I did not have the balance but trusted that I had the remaining balance difference of $65 minus my order total on my $15 gift card.
Then on Dec 19, 2024 I make a Pizza Pizza order at a different location and try to use the remaining balance on my $15 gift card. To my shock, it was $0. I thought maybe the balance may be on my $50 gift card then. Also $0. Surprisingly this restaurant from Dec 19 was actually able to show me both balances of $0 and also provided me a copy of the balances.
So not only did the location at 3737 Major Mac overcharge me and completely empty my gift cards, they misinformed me that they *do not provide the balance* when I am literally writing this review with the balance papers from the location I visited today.
I called 416-967-11111 to ask to check the transactions of both my gift cards and the agent advised she did not have the capability to do this. I then asked to be transferred or given the store phone number for this location which she said that it doesn’t exist. I asked for a number to provide general complaints to or how I can escalate this since my gift card balance was stolen from me. She also said there is no such number and I must go to the restaurant that provided me this grief to begin with and that she thinks they can review transaction information of a given gift cards but isn’t sure. It’s curious that for all restaurants, they supposedly have no contact number to reach them at.
Unfortunately I’ll have to drive cities over just to come and ask for them to check my gift card transactions or check their cameras or database of which transaction went right before mine which will confirm that was paid for with my gift card.
Please give me my money back on my gift card. It was essentially stolen from this location given the overcharge and misinformed/untrained employee.
EDIT: resolved in late Dec 2024 through customer service. This location did in fact improperly and unethically empty my gift card. See screenshot.
This was hands down one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. I ordered a simple mushroom topping pizza, and they still managed to screw it up. The mushrooms tasted old and rubbery, like they’d been sitting out for days. The pizza arrived stone cold, not fresh and not even remotely hot. If you're thinking of ordering from here, don’t. Save your money and your stomach.

Walked in to pick up my order (phone order) 2 topping veggie pizza +dip, and saw the person at the back who was making the pizzas put cheese on the pizza with his bear hands (no gloves). Surely he was putting all condiments without gloves. I told the cashier to tell the person to put on his gloves to which she went and told the person. The owner should really make sure about hygiene and ensure customers don’t walk in and see this again. Unacceptable.

Always undercooked dough they prob have no clue what a proper pizza should look like from the bottom. Maybe they should take a trip down to 1430 major mac branch to realize what a proper cooked pizza looks like
