Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar Vaughan

The restaurant wasn't that busy overall when we got there, but everything felt like it took forever to come to our table. The pasta dishes we all got tasted like the “fresh” pasta has been sitting out since the day before all stuck together. Maybe it was an off night or we just got unlucky with where we sat. Service and food these days just don't feel the same anymore.

Wonderful place to dine for business, casual, special occasions. Excellent service (by Jennifer), food was amazing, delicious, and came hot/ready to eat. Great atmosphere! A 10/10 for sure!

I had to wait 20 min to be seated despite setting a 715 reservation. My food and drinks were very delayed in coming out. My espresso martini drink when I received it was very foamy and had to be sent back because it took up half the drink. The server didn't not check on us to ask how the food was, was very delayed the entire time. They took a very long time to come around and get the bill as well.

One of us was violently ill after the pesto chicken dish. The bruschetta's tomatoes may have been bad as well. The rest of the food was good and no other complaints.

Great food and service awesome cocktails! The restaurant is big and airy the best chandeliers with a wonderful host.

I had a reservation at Scaddabush for 10:15 PM and arrived a bit early around 9:45 PM with my family — four of us including an infant in a car seat. We were seated at a regular table by Emily, and I politely requested a booth, as the car seat doesn’t fit well or safely on a regular chair.

Emily refused, saying the booths were “closed” and servers wouldn’t be able to serve us there. When I mentioned that I had a reservation — which she claimed was the only way booths are assigned — she still denied the request. Meanwhile, several booths were visibly empty. I even took a photo of the empty booths as proof.

We sat at the table anyway, despite the inconvenience. Just a few minutes later, another couple sitting near us at a regular table was moved to a booth — the exact thing we were told was not possible.

Both Emily and the male staff member who escorted us were dismissive and frankly, rude. I’ve been to Scaddabush many times before and have never experienced such treatment. This time, I honestly felt we were being treated differently — and I couldn’t help but feel there was a hint of racism in the way we were spoken to and brushed off.

The food was good, as always, but the service and treatment were extremely disappointing. As a paying customer with a reservation and a baby, I expected at least basic courtesy. I hope the management takes this seriously — especially when guests leave feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.

Come here every so often and the food is good vibes are nice and Emma the bartender really makes the experience amazing with her service and drink making ability. Best service I’ve ever had

I picked up a friend from the airport and headed to the restaurant immediately while this is his first time in Canada. Such a good experience and we received good care from Emma J. I was about to take Emma’s cell phone number, LOL.

Wonderful experience again at Scaddabush

From start to finish we received awful service. Sat for about 15 minutes before she even came to come take our drink order. Then sat for about another 15 before she came to take our food order, keep in the mind the restaurant was not busy. Food came out , we all ordered the same thing yet none of them tasted the same. Our server never came back to the table until she came to bill us out so we couldn't order more drinks. When we tipped her 15% for the poor service she gave us attitude and stormed off, I tip off service and she didn't even deserve the 15%.
