Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar Vaughan

I have eaten at Scaddabush several times at both The Shops at Don Mills and in Scarborough. Each time whatever we ordered was excellent. The Vaughan Scaddabush, however, was a completely different experience. The mozzarella appetizer was very tough and dry, the opposite of fresh and stringy as it should be. Strike one. The beet salad, which was supposed to have a nice lemon honey vinaigrette (I have had this several times before), tasted as though straight vinegar had been poured onto it! I literally choked when I took the first bite, this was not edible. As a replacement I ordered the Avocado Bruschetta. When it finally arrived (my friend had already completed her salad), I was given an order of the regular bruschetta, without the avocado. That was strike two. To finish off the meal I ordered a cappuccino. It was also a disappointment - there was no froth at all, just basically a large, watered down espresso with a drop of milk. Strike three. I must credit the waitress, she was pleasant and apologetic. All in all the experience at Vaughan Scaddabush was really terrible, a complete strike out. I will definitely never return to this restaurant.

Went for a family Easter Dinner, my wife, daughter and I all got are food and drink's correct but my son did not. My son order a pizza with just cheese and sauce and an ice tea, he did it receive his drink until he got his pizza but had to ask for his ice tea. The pizza came out with a basil oil drizzle, and has to send it back. By the time his new pizza came out the three of us had finished our dinners. The second pizza came out with cheese and sun dried tomatoes, once again in correctly made. At this point we all waited to just go home so he did not eat at all with us. We had top stop on the way home to get him some take out food. He was very disappointed and we felt bad for him as we wanted a nice night out for Easter. Gregg Taylor

We always enjoy the food at Scaddabush. Today we had a great server as well, and that made our lunch more enjoyable. The only complaint that we have always had is the volume of the music, although today it seemed to be a touch lower than usual, so we were able to hear ourselves talk!

We were sitting in the bar area since they did not ask us our preference when making the reservation. The music was so loud that we could barely speak to our friends that we were dining with.

Great meal. Great service. A bit pricey for a glass of wine though. Still a good experience.

Excellent food. We enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan, the Gnocchi, the Beet Salad and the Tiramisu.

Really enjoyed our lunch. The Fennell Soup and Charity Bread were a great start - hot and savory. Then we had the Diovalo Pizza - great!

The food was mediocre, lacked seasoning. We all felt the same thing. Nice restraint vibe, food Meh.

Ivy was awesome! She made our day! The food was great too but it really was Ivy that was fantastic!

Arriving earlier than our reservation, we were promptly seated in a charming booth, setting the tone for an excellent dining experience. Our waiter was attentive and personable, enhancing the meal from start to finish. We began with the spicy funghi pizza, followed by the truffle mushroom mafalde and the sausage & fennel rigatoni for mains. Each dish impressed with exceptional quality, thoughtful presentation, and generous portions. We left thoroughly satisfied and delighted. This location outshines the Mississauga branch, delivering superior taste and craftsmanship in its pasta dishes. Highly recommended.
