The food/ service is good and all. But the place is extremely expensive to start with, and on top of that they make u pay extra for utensils if placing order online.Don't even provide napkins as part of take our order. Approx $40/person

I NEVER leave reviews for anything, but I had to for this: (worth the read)Service: Our server was named Phu V., and he was amazing! So extremely polite, asked about any allergies right when we sat down, which was very considerate and not something anyone has thought to ask at any other restaurant I’ve been. Talked about the menu a bit, again super friendly and assuring, was quick to kindly assure me they could make my requested drink no problem! Didn’t check on us too much at all but was always around. Best service I’ve ever had!! My only wish is that we could have tipped him more!Food: I’m Italian, grew up there, so I can never get Italian food in restaurants as it usually pairs in comparison to what I grew up eating. But O.M.G. Never have I gone out to eat and been actually mind-blown over the food. Traditional with some delux added touches—The quality (all fresh and homemade, from the bread and pasta—homemade pasta will change your life if you’ve only had dried pasta from the store before and they do it BEST here—to the mozzarella!), the portions (huge, definitely getting your money’s worth!), and genuinely the best tasting food I’ve ever had from a restaurant. My husband and I were genuinely jaw-dropped, eyes-wide, shocked at how amazing it was. You can see them making the mozza from scratch from your table, and we were also kindly encouraged to go stand by them and watch up close!! We only intended to get a small meal, but we ended up getting a starter, our mains, desserts, and I got a blood orange aperol spritz (HIGHLY recommend!), and almost went home with a pizza to eat tomorrow! Even people who claim not to like Italian food would fall in love with this place. We’re obsessed and will definitely be back as often as possible!!! I really cannot stress enough how incredible the food is!!!Atmosphere: Inside is so incredibly beautiful!!! It’s all very nostalgic with the canned tomatoes and citrus around, and the big wooden tables with cute mismatch chairs (in a good way, trust me). The brick walls and columns with the STUNNING chandeliers, were magical. The antique portrait paintings and walls of wine bottles were the perfect touch. I couldn’t stop looking around (when my face wasn’t glued to my plate of course), and felt right at home! :) Absolutely PERFECT for a romantic date night and/or a family dinner, and it’s hard to find somewhere that works for both!!TLDR: Perfect, heaven on earth, trust me I’m Italian, this might be the only restaurant I ever go to in my entire life, best server is a man named Phu V.!

5 stars to Azure, who gave the cutest most accommodating service the other night when me and my family came to dine in.

Loved this place! We didn't have a reservation on a Friday night and they managed to get us a new table setup within 15 minutes! Great service and we have never seen our 2.5 year old eat so much pizza! Children menu is a steal and great portions. Will definitely be back

Well, this Scaddabush is located in a quite busy plaza in Vaughan. From the major Vaughan Cineplex to the Costco store, and tons of other smaller restaurants/bars, there can be a lot of cars in and out of the parking lots during peak hours. We came here for a dinner meal around 21:00 EST., and it was simple enough to find parking. After settling down, we ordered the Polenta Fries to share, which was disappointing. I guess we should've read the description better but what was thought to be a plate of fries turned out to be 6 "Jenga" sticks of "polenta" potate sticks with a red sauce (Marinara?). The taste was okay but portion size was tiny for 3 people, and it was slightly mushy on the inside, with texture consistency similar to that of a hash brown.I went with the "fennel sausage rigatoni" pasta dish, which was delicious. The pasta was al dente although a couple pieces were bordering the line of undercooked. The sausage was tasty, hot peppers were actually quite spicy, and the pasta sauce paired well with the arugula and other toppings in the dish. Finally, I went with the "Toasted Coconut Pina Colada", which tasted good. The alcohol was not too noticeable, and the toasted coconuts offered a different "crunch" texture which contrasted well to the tartness of the drink. A mint leaf rounded off the dynamic flavours and had me pleased.Costing around $14, it's up to you to decide if it's worth it. Final bill came out to just north of $50.00 CAD, so it's certainly not a cheap meal, and probably not worth the price tag in my honest opinion. Would I recommend Scaddabush? Well, as a casual italian meal, sure, but be prepared to shell out nearly half a century of dollars (har har) for a decently filling meal, if not more. See photos below for references.Dietary restrictions: Not sure lolParking: Read description.Kid-friendliness: Yes, you can bring children to eat. Most customers are kids though lol.

Went here for my 16 year old friend’s birthday and Shanny + Maggie were awesome. The service and food was excellent, I was a bit nervous at first but I was able to talk to them easily like I do with my 12 year old dog, Jerry.

The atmosphere was charming and the service excellent. Although the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait. We absolutely loved the Avocado Bruschetta and highly recommend trying it!
