Better late than never … a few weeks ago, I had a very beautiful experience at St Phillips (Maple) … I had pre-ordered a cake and upon pick the store couldn’t find the cake … Matthew (server) was relentless in his search for my order … after a couple of tries and calls, he came back and offered me 2 cakes to replace my order PLUS a credit for the one which has gone missing!!! That’s what you call customer service (without asking) … and their desserts are yummy too … repeat customer! Thank you St Phillips!

I’ve been a customer of this bakery, and while their products are generally not wow , the customer service can be disappointing. The owner's son, in particular, has been quite rude to clients on multiple occasions. There was even an incident in the past where he was arguing and physically fighting with his brother inside the bakery, which was very unprofessional and uncomfortable for customers present. It’s unfortunate because the bakery may have potential, but the atmosphere is affected by this behavior of the son.

Randomly stopped by this place while visiting the area. I didn't know what a hidden gem this place was until a few customers told me that they drive from all parts of Ontario just to eat the pizza here. I forgot to take a photo since I was that eager to try the pizza (Margherita)!
Pizza was just like the one I had in Naples! - Super tasty dough, texture was soft yet crispy on the surface with every bite - A harmonious blend of flavors, with the sweetness of the tomatoes is complemented by the mildness of the mozzarella and the aromatic basil. - The chef was friendly and professional, he actually comes from Italy 🤌🇮🇹 so the pizza was the real deal!
My only issue was the AC, I was so hot already before getting my pizza. It dampened my whole experience eating there.
I'll be coming back but at better atmospheric conditions.....

Really solid service and food! Get the veal sandwich for sure. Cannoli is also great.

The brunette in a ponytail working in the front this morning by the pastries/cash was so rude and entitled. Clearly good customer service isn’t a thing here. She needs to work on her attitude. This place is going to lose a lot of business with people like her working here and it’s a shame because the food is actually pretty good! Definitely not coming back to this location and not recommending to any of my family/friends.
