We ordered one of the sushi & sashimi combos a few weeks ago. It smelled very fishy but I didn't think too much of it. My boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning and threw up that night for hours. We've always had a great experience at the Yonge & Finch location, and we were horrified with this experience that we will not be returning to Sushi Bong ☹️

Ordered 3 rolls and sashimi for pick up at their World on Yonge location. Last I ate at Sushi Bong was 5 years ago in North York and remember their portions were decent and price was good so thought I give them a try again. However, I was so disappointed at my experience. Both Salmon and Tuna smelled and for the first time in my life I threw out my sushi to the garbage. I honestly couldn’t believe it. I have nothing against them but I’m very very disappointed at their quality. Never going back there again!

Every time I craved and dig down dishes so not many photos to share, I may do my habit again when I have my foods from this restaurant!

Ordered for pickup, This is one of the best place in Norh York area for sushi. The quality, the staff, the pricing, all factors come together to make this my favourite place anytime.I ordered Korean style "Hae Dup Bap" and "Special California roll". everything was very delicious and very fresh.Definitely one of the top sushi places on my list in the area.Will go back for more whenever I want to eat fresh and delicious food.

This is my favourite sushi place! I've been going here for years and it never disappoints. Their rolls are fresh, there's a thin layer of rice and they put a lot of ingredients inside. Also, whenever you ask for extra ginger or wasabi they always give it to you. Overall it's perfect and there's nothing else to say, you just have to eat it!

What a joke. Ordered delivery. What I got was overcooked rice. Too much rice. Missing ingredients. Improperly cut. The only good that came out of it is the ginger and the fact that I no longer have to order from here again. I advise you all do the same. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This place has the best sushi in the world. I always come here and order from here and I am in love with the sushi. They are very fast too, within 10 minutes your order is ready! The employee is also always nice. I will keep coming back and suggest others to do the same :)

One of my favorite spots for a quite bite when I'm craving sushi.The best deal at this place is their SUSHI BONG SPECIAL, as for $11.95 you get 8 pcs California roll (which are huge and I've actually noted raw salmon in these rolls numerous times), 4 pcs salmon maki, and 5 pcs nigiri. However, I can never resist their SPICY SALMON ROLL because their version is a little different from the classic. Instead of spicy mayo which is commonly used, they substitute it with red pepper paste. This variation actually works really well to add a nice little kick with a ton of flavor!Ratios of rice to fish are always good and freshness is always there. Service is also very friendly and efficient, couldn't ask for more.Despite being quite a busy spot, they're really efficient without sacrificing quality.NOTE: cash or debit only!
