I only go to Symposium for early morning meetings. Food is OK but it's on the expensive side.

The teriyaki salmon salad I ordered was a tail filet as opposed to the supreme cut promoted in the photo. Further to it was the salad comprised of iceberg lettuce, inclusive of the core, a handful of cherry tomatoes, two cold steamed broccoli crowns and three cold fried wontons.

I’ve been here a few times for their fabulous desserts, so I decided to try their lunch menu. Since it was a cold day, the restaurant wasn’t too busy. The decor is homey and inviting, modern with a Mediterranean flair, and the leather-style bench seating is comfy.

I started with the side Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, cold and a good size. For my main, I went with the Chicken Parmesan - it was titanic. The massive piece of breaded chicken was topped with ooey gooey melted mozzarella and paired with an enormous portion of fettuccine in a rich, savoury meat sauce. It included a funky piece of tasty, angular garlic bread. It took me quite a long time to demolish it.

After the main course demo, I had the Fudge Brownie cheesecake for dessert: cool, smooth, sweet, dreamy, creamy texture, and a lovely chocolate sauce drizzle. I can see why it's one of their signature desserts. It paired well with coffee.

The service from Dorsa was friendly and attentive.

I’ll definitely be back. My only suggestion to the manager is to fix the front door which is not hinged properly and keeps closing with a loud bang.

P.S. Don’t forget that from December 14, 2024, to February 15, 2025, restaurants won’t charge the 13% HST, so take advantage while you can!

We visited this restaurant with friends. And they were not very happy!
Firstly, we waited a very long time for our order, the waiter didn’t come to us at all, the table was dirty, the dishes weren’t very good either, the glasses were stained. And bonus, there was a hair in the salad plate!!!
They apologized, but the impressions were spoiled, as was the appetite.
We were with children, this was clearly not what I expected.

Instead of speaking about others and absorbing their staff (the manager)try to serve better quality food .honestly my fish dish was left completely in the plate.

Brunch on Sunday was lovely - French toast with bacon and blueberries, and spinach’s and feta omelette. Our server was Sky, very attentive and pleasant

We showed up alittle early and took care of us , amazing service , food , outstanding restaurant

The Symposium Burger is awesome and served really hot! Fries were also hot and very good. The Apple Caramel Square was not really up to what I thought it might be, but still very good. Would definitely recommend..

I've been coming to this location, and now its even a better experience because of their daily specials. Sarah, whos been our server for the last 2 times we came, has been very very friendly, accommodating and welcoming, which makes the experience even more pleasureable.
