Nice atmosphere and good service. The sandwich was great but I found the fries a little less so, little broken bits, not full fries.

absolutely massive ripoff. aside from being stupidly overpriced, they knowingly make the sandwiches appear to be full, but they give you very little in it. They lie about the size of their portioms. You will finish your sandwich in 4-5 bites, almost entirely made up of bread, and ask where your $20 went. They put extra bread in my sandwich to deliberetly make it appear larger (pictured on side). You can order anything on the menu and you will see they lie about the portion sizes, and will chince you on anything you order. not the first time this has happened at this place. They are chincing customers deliberately.
Avoid eating here at all costs.

Saturday evening, 7pm. Place is empty, staff clearly more interested in their phones. Had a 10oz corned beef platter. With gravy, My wife had a 5oz smoked meat platter. No gravy. Hers on marble rye, I had onion bun. Fries have way too much salt, gravy costs $3.50. she asked for ketchup for her fries. They gave her an empty bottle. The gravy comes in a coffee cream serving dish, and is also way to salty. The at the table debit machines were down. All this for $60.00 for 2 sandwiches and fries. And 2 waters. Very disappointed. Tried last weekend, and the were closed at 6:30.

Came here to check reviews after eating here and the one where the customer said someone told them “I have a mortgage to pay” really makes a lot of sense and is totally believable based off the portion sizes they gave in the sandwich for the price they’re asking.

Competitors like centre street deli, pancer, etc give you a fair portion for the price they are asking with way better quality. They’re smallest sandwich is all bread and barely any meat. My brother got a bigger one and the claim of it being 10oz it definitely was not, if I had a scale it would have for sure been 2 ounces less.

Only come here if you like being rinsed out of 15 bucks for a poor quality not as advertised sandwich where they chintz you out on the meat portion.

Response to Owner: Not sure if you even read the review to claim “your mind was already made up” obviously I would have to walk in, pay for a sandwich, receive the sandwich, see that you skimp out on the serving size your claiming to give and then proceed to leave an honest review based on receiving a sandwich I payed for. Your prices are astronomical compared to what’s out there and what you receive for the price payed.

I get the Smash Burger here several times a week, and it’s always top quality! What really makes this place stand out is the customer service. On the rare occasion something isn’t right, they fix it immediately and go above and beyond to make it right. Customer satisfaction is clearly their priority. Highly recommend!

It was my first time here. The food was very good. Portions were really generous. Our server said it was her first day. She did ok. Would have been nice if she came around to check on us more often. We were the only ones there. I'd go back.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was honestly impressed. The old fashioned corned beef is stacked and super tender. Bread’s (onion bun) fresh, everything tastes homemade. It’s a laid-back, clean, cozy, retro-styled spot and the food hits just right. Good place if you're craving something hearty and old-school.

Really cool spot! Clean, welcoming, and has a genuinely authentic vibe. We had The Montreal and the Corned Beef — both were fantastic. Ordering for our 7-piece band was a breeze, which was a pleasant surprise! They even went out of their way to make an incredible veggie sandwich for one of our group. I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m in the area!

Whoa. The food was a huge hit! Beyond expectations. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the food and the vibe! Everything was fresh, flavourful, and served with a smile. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick.

I didn't like the sandwich. The bread was very hard, the meat was very fat. I don't recommend such a price now. I've eaten sandwiches that were much tastier.
