I had my birthday dinner at Trimani Ristorante in Woodbridge and honestly, I expected more based on the 4.9-star rating.
The service was fine—friendly and attentive—but that’s about the only part that lived up to expectations.
The real disappointment came with the $42 charge for sparkling water, which no one bothered to mention. It was just added to the bill without a word. That kind of upcharge feels shady, not classy.
I ordered a steak, which was okay, but nothing special—especially for the price. The one I had at The Keg the night before was noticeably better, which really says something.
The entertainment was bland and forgettable. For a place that promotes itself as upscale and lively, it lacked atmosphere and energy.
Overall, it wasn’t a disaster—but far from a 5-star experience. Feels like Trimani is coasting on its past reputation, because what we got didn’t come close to justifying the hype. I won’t be recommending it, and I won’t be back.

My wife and I went to Trimani for our wedding anniversary. The food and service was amazing. We had the fried fish, my wife had gnocchi with vodka sauce, was not on menu but they made it. I had the parpadelle with mushrooms, the food was amazing. The service from Mel was fantastic, she paid attention to every detail. The final touch was by Rob the owner, he was there making sure everyone was taken care of. He came and chatted with us for a while giving our experience that final perfect touch.
I recommend trying this place out.

My family and I celebrated my mom’s retirement at Tremani last night and we were not disappointed. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was perfect. The live pianist was wonderful and super friendly. My nephew was dancing all night long. Our server and the owner kept checking in on us, we felt comfortable and not rushed. Would definitely be back!

Had the Chef's Special Fish with Potatoes.It was exceptional! Presentation was really good and the fish was perfectly grilled. Desert was Espresso Creme Brule, one word - W O W! All this was recommended by our server after asking what I feel like. Will definitely be coming again.

The team flawlessly executed every detail and provided us with exceptional care, making it an unforgettable experience. Went there for the first time - the atmosphere was high class, and the history behind how the restaurant came to be is fascinating! Don't even get me started on the food, it was unbelievable!
The best calamari I've ever had - the perfect crispiness and variety of seafood (squid, white fish or cod, shrimp), and I would pack that sauce home if I could.
The beet salad with Gorgonzola cheese was amazing and I typically do not like blue cheese, but they made it so well mixed with the right ingredients that I enjoyed it a lot!
Their freshly made spinach pasta special was chef's kiss! You can tell it was authentic and made on the spot.
The braised lamb shank fell off the bone and did not disappoint!
100% would recommend and 100% will be going back again!
