First time visiting during 2024 Fall wine festival. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had a full day so we didn't get a chance for a proper tasting, only had there Icewine and Merlot. We ended up purchasing bottles of both.
Looking forward to coming back and really getting to know the winery.

We went here for the Discovery Pass event and just loved this small winery. It was so quaint and the wine was great! We had Kat as our server and she was wonderful! Her wine knowledge was very good and she was super friendly!

Visited this winery over the past few years and always impressed by the great selection of amazing wines. Staff is great and Danny, the owner is always there to recommend and answer any wine questions. The grounds are awesome and look great. The Airbnb is a beautiful house that is right on the property. Very comfortable and perfect for events or a mini local vacation.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for some great wines or a few nights away from the city. It def does not disappoint

Danny is a gem, his wine is lovely. Both back vintages and new vintages are available for purchase including old world and new world wine varietals, while still presenting as uniquely Ontario grown. Well done and thank you for an enjoyable introduction, will definitely be returning!

Danny hosted us through a lovely arrangement of their wines - I particularly liked their late harvest Vidal sparkling. Really enjoyed the space, atmosphere and service - will be back again.

Definitely a hidden gem ! I wish I had gotten to know this place earlier , but never too late :D The staffs are very knowledgeable and friendly . They also have a beautiful B&B on the property . Highly recommended to stop by Alvento Winery for your upcoming tasting trip .

Jackson-Triggs' Cabernet Franc Icewine used to be the industry's best. Not anymore. I'm sitting in JT winery right now writing this, and I can say with certainty that Alvento's Cab Franc Icewine kicks it out of the park.Inhale the bouquet, you would swear you were sticking your nose into a bowl of strawberries, with some rhubarb on the side. Absolutely superb! Could be the best Cab Franc Icewine in the world! Highly recommended by Dr. Piton, big wall wine aficionado.

Hands down the best wine tasting experience ever!! Wines are excellent! The consistent raspberry umami lights up the taste. Love everything we tasted especially the award-winning Chardonnay. They also have super cute but also elegant tasting bottles which is a perfect gift / souvenir for us to take home. The owner Danny is super welcoming and knowledgeable about wine making. We are really looking forward to coming back again and even staying at the lovely Airbnb they have in the vineyard!!
