Featherstone Estate Winery & Vineyard

Love their patio. Good service. Good wine. It’s our third year visiting this vineyard. The view, the cozy ness and the family vibe are very nice. 🌞

Visited Featherstone for wine tasting and wood oven pizzas with a social group. Absolutely beautiful property. Wonderful staff with knowledgeable and friendly service. Absolutely love that this winery is sustainable! Highly recommend a stop here if you’re in the Niagara region. Will definitely be back!

This winery was our third stop on our wine tour. We were seated outside on their porch when it was storming and cold, but they said they were unable to accommodate us inside. We braved it out because they brought us blankets. After our first pour the sommelier/staff were not attentive whatsoever, and left us waiting over 20 minutes for the next wine to taste. By the time we got the third glass of wine we were over the service. The sommelier basically said the same thing about each wine, and they left a lot to be desired.

Leashed dogs are totally welcome at this older looking, rustic farmhouse. Everything about the place is comfortable. The porch overlooks the vineyards. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Did I mention that there’s wine?I prefer red wine and got a four sample flight for $15. The wine I tried was delicious, although I’m definitely not an expert. We enjoyed the Cabernet Franc and the Cabernet Sauvignon and picked up a couple of bottles to bring home.It’s a very different vibe from some of the other Niagara vineyards with their posh and imposing buildings. We have visited a couple of times and with certainly go back.

Great winery, beautiful atmosphere in the fall and summer. Service was awesome. And highly recommend the herbivore board!

Great place wonderful staff..

This winery is always in our lineup when taking friends and family from out of town to Niagara. The Veranda is so peaceful, the staff is always sweet and attentive, and the wine and snack options are delicious - not to mention they now have a dog treat flight! That went over really well on our trip this week with our group’s three pups!I would highly recommend coming here if you want to relax with a flight and good service.We also had to communicate before this most recent trip to make reservations for a party of 7, and the communication was quick and efficient. Thanks Meg and team!

As a frequent visitor to Featherstone, I can't help but marvel at the incredible experiences I've had. Shelby, with her unparalleled expertise and warm hospitality, has truly made my wine tastings exceptional. Her ability to unravel the intricacies of Featherstone's wine portfolio is a gift, and each visit with her feels like a delightful journey into the world of flavors and aromas. First time visiting this winery and not impressed at all. The estate itself was small and cozy and the scenery was nice… the killer was the service. Usually when tasting a flight of wines we want to know the story behind the winery, nothing… we had to ask the associate if she could tells us the story about the wines, the estate… guess what answer we got? Zero, they weren’t even busy so why not make the experience a good one! Never again.

Last visit was a disaster: no food because of the rain and no more Chardonnay!! Now you need to go to LCBO to get it....i have been a customer for many years, so sad. It's ok i will go somewhere else!

Very good experience here. The farmhouse and country porch atmosphere is very comfortable for wine tasting. We had some excellent wine samples. The tasting was much enhanced by the charcuterie offerings suggested by Meg and Alyssa. The house made pate was one of the best we had ever tasted, anywhere!All in all, a great place to visit and we will be back.
