We’ve been to Tawse many times over the years, but this visit was truly exceptional. We came during the Icewine Festival in January 2026, and on top of our Discovery Pass icewine tasting, we decided to do a separate tasting with Donatella — and wow. She was absolutely amazing. We ended up spending way more time than we planned, drinking way more wine than we intended, and just had the best overall experience. Everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely special. Thank you so much, Donatella — we’ll definitely be back in the summer to see you again!

Terrible customer service. When we arrived there were 4 employees working and 2 other groups in the winery. No one greeted us when we arrived and it was about 10 minutes before someone asked if we wanted to do a tasting. Server told us nothing about the wines and seemed annoyed when we asked questions. When paying $25 per tasting expect far better customer service. Staff seemed more interested in trying wines behind the bar versus taking care of the 6 people that were in the winery. We noticed other couples also experiencing the same lack of service. Very disappointing.

From the moment I pulled up to Tawse Winery, I knew I was in for something special. The property is spotless — polished, clean, and absolutely stunning. Rolling views of the vineyard stretch out in every direction like something out of a movie. It’s the kind of place where you just stop for a second and think: wow… life is pretty damn good.
And then there was Meygan — our server and the true MVP of the day. Funny, relaxed, and the very definition of easygoing. She made everything feel natural and enjoyable, like hanging out with that one cool friend who just gets you. Even though this place has a real high-end vibe, she never once made me feel out of place. I’m a blue-collar person — definitely not fancy — but they treated me like a VIP from the second I stepped through the door.
Now… the wine. Imagine the best day of your life — sunny skies, laughs, everything going absolutely perfect — mix all that together, pour it into a glass, and send it down the hatch. That is what this wine tasted like. Hands down, the best wine I’ve ever had in my entire life. It just slaps you right in the mouth with goodness, lol. I didn’t just grab a bottle on the way out — I bought four, because there was no chance I was leaving without bringing that magic home with me.
The whole experience felt high-class but still totally welcoming, like a place you could go with friends or bring family and feel proud showing it off. And honestly? I can’t wait to come back again in the summer months because I already know it’s going to be even better. Sitting out in the warm weather with those views and that atmosphere — that’s going to be next-level perfect.

Hospitality at it's Best! We were very privilege to attend a Summer lunch tasting. We were treated like Queens from the moment we arrived. Extra attention from the owners as well. Him and his wife enjoyed that beautiful meal and premium wines. Merci Beaucoup!

The difficulty here was making a decision on what to buy and wish we had a greater baggage allowance for our flight home!
We'd had one of the wines with dinner on our trip so made an unscheduled stop to visit the Tawse shop.
As we had a minor with us we hadn't booked a formal experience or tour. However shop staff were incredibly friendly, both advising on the wine and making suggestions of activities for our next stop.
All the wines we tried were lovely, as was the cider and if ever passing again would definitely pop in again.

An absolutely gorgeous winery with wonderful wines, a great way to pass some time. AND, the tasting fee is waived if you purchase two bottles of wine. Since we enjoyed our samples, buying Tawse products was not a difficult decision

We chose the flight of four wines and were especially impressed by the 2022 Pinot Noir and the sparkling Riesling—both were exceptional. A peaceful, beautiful spot with fantastic wines. Highly recommend!
