Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

We stopped in on our way back from a funeral, heading back to Windsor.
We ordered the same as we have had many times before, and it was not great! The flat bread was good and spicy!
The salads were not bad, but did not come with the lemon for the Caesar salad!
The wings were tiny and the server forgot to order the gravy that was ordered and when we brought it to her attention , she said “I forgot to order it, do
You still want it?” Yes please. I ordered the lemon at that time! After at least 10 mins she never brought it to us, so we asked another server she returned with the gravy and said there would be no charge. & but still no lemon! Another 5-10 mins she brought the lemon! And was rude.
Once our server brought the bill, the gravy was on the bill, and I said there should be no charge for the gravy! She grabbed the bill, walked to the kitchen, she crumpled the bill and threw it in garbage! Coming back, I said your co-worker said there would be no charge, “well I didn’t know that”! I explained that isn’t my problem, so you shouldn’t speak like that to me!

The bartender (Ashley) tried to rectify the situation with a gift card and she was very kind!
We do appreciate good food and service, and always tip well.
Unfortunately, our server was not tipped and the food was not great. But Ashley was kind and apologized as well as rectified it!

We were passing through the area by boat, so stopped in the Chuck’s Roadhouse for dinner. We were on the water all day and very hungry. There was nobody to greet us or seat us, so we found a booth ourselves. It appeared to be very few staff, so we thought about leaving. However a friendly waitress found us and brought menus. I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and my wife the chicken burger. The wait was very long for the food- approximately 40 min. When my order of ribs arrived I thought there was a mistake and they brought me something else! The ribs were the smallest I have ever seen. I counted the bones and it was indeed a 1/2 rack. The pig must have been the size of a house cat and very skinny. Maybe Chucks buys their ribs from the same farm that raises the Kentucky Fried chicken hens in 9 days!
Anyway, they did taste good, but after my meal I was still starving.

Very difficult to have a conversation during dinner due to the very loud music

Went here after the WAMBO festival and just ordered nachos and loaded fries. Waited 10 minutes to get a beer and a cocktail, ended up finally getting a second beer. Finished that and 45 minutes later we left enough cash for our drinks and left, empty belly's and very disappointed

If you want to waste a whole day in a restaurant go here. Slowest chucks I have ever been too. They offer no water, and there are only 2 people working on a Saturday afternoon. I went up to the bar to get a beer only to realize that the server was also the bar tender. I had to follow her around to order a beer. All we ordered was two appetizers as it is lunch and it took forever.

Me and my girlfriend usually come here for date night and food is almost always perfect and service is great how ever tn the food was not the best not only did i order a porter house cooked rare i recieved a tbone cooked medium well and the cut of meat not a chucks rod house issue at all was butcherd terribly by the supplier as far as service and liquor go thats was fine would i come back yes of course i would

Dined here mid week, service was friendly but a little slow. I had the steak and lobster, was good except there was less than a bite of lobster tail. It was on top like running mashed potatoes and definitely not even a teaspoon of it. Otherwise was good all in all.

Was at chucks today 27 July 2025 ordered the fries supreme and ordered a drink hour and half later finished second drink payed bill never got the food disappointed foods pretty good there don't know if I'll be returning

I loke the settings. I had the fish and chips and it was extremely crunchy. Batter didn't taste that great. Fries were rubber. I'm not saying that ot may always be the same but that day was not a good one. 8 of ate there together and 3 meals out of 8 were very good and the rest was not delicious. Cooks and servers get busy amd things het forgotten. It's understandable however it makes you not want to go back to see if it was a one off. We have been there 4 times and the other 2 times were ok but nothing to write hime about. I Haye leaving these kond of reviews but this is what makes places get better. If they do not know they cannot change it.

We went for their Thursday $15 rib & wings night. We thoroughly enjoyed both the ribs and the wings and the service was great! We will be back!

We visited this location today and Ashley was our server ! What a a wonderful polite person ! The food was excellent and she honestly answered any question we had! She made this place for lunch a very welcoming place 💚
